I wonder if we can keep Gheb out forever by waiting until he responds.

Like, we could move on in conversation and anytime he shows up just bring this thing up again.

I read them but didn't pay much attention because I was also writing a paper and studying for a test I had today.

It's still interesting that you'd actually explicitly post your reasoning because it's something I don't think you've ever done before. :bee:
I used to back in my Stage Discussion days, once long, long ago. Ah, high school.

I dunno why but I've been thinking about real in-depth analysis of the game for a while and I'd kinda like to actually see it happen.

Misconstrued what I said entirely.
Misunderstood the point of my post.
My point was that outside of competitive reasons there are no justifications possible for the banning of MK that would hold much weight.

I don't know why you'd mention how you would justify MK's ban then go on to say you won't share.

It is like the teaser's for showing John-117's face.
Eventually, you stop caring.

@Zzgashi: Leave gheb alone! D=

Doesn't change the fact you couldn't <3

Also if I had known what my night would've been like at that last opportunity, I would've come play with you guys @ florida/nike's room.

CONSIDERING that Asa ended up getting back to Sync's like... half an hour after I got back.
****ing hate my life.

Da **** is this? He name searched that.

So, if mikeneko beats everyone at apex (although he's amazing I have reservations on consistency) can we finally all agree Marth is 4th best in the game?
If mikeneko doesnt take top 3, imo Marth should move to Mid Tier.

But srsly, Marth should never be above 7th imo.

Super, super late, but I just decided to reply to these. Not gonna bother catching up on anything else.

i know i'm late but, will has beaten several DDD's even with the infinite legal, and has lost to DDD's that will not infinite him (that might only be me)

i hesitate to call it unwinnable but idk i don't like absolutes

i would never use anyone EXCEPT will though as a basis for DK's matchups LOL
So..........proof that DDD:DK isn't +4? :smirk:

Because your only alternatives are UMvC3, SSFAE, or Playstation All Stars.
There's no possible way to join any other gaming scene and call it an "improvement." :applejack:
Hey, I'd like to think joining Project M is quite a nice prospect. Skullgirls is a pretty cool game, too. :awesome:

Because Brawl community is pretty much the only one who adopts new players, most of the other communities are too close-minded and unfun to get started with.
So yeah, many play Brawl because of the people they know rather than the game itself.
Hey, Project M is doing a really good job of advertising to and accepting new players. We'd like to join both the Melee and Brawl communities on common ground, and the game has done a decent job of keeping aspects and techniques from both.

Don't be hating on pretty boy Marf now. He's not Top 5 material, but he is and always will be a good character.

My encounter with PSASBR was weird.

I'm more-or-less known as a fast-paced ZSS player, a very very mobile character with a terrible grab.

When playing PSASBR however, I pick Raiden and fthrow techchase everything.

Does the Pokemon TCG have a banlist? Surely...

The Yugioh banlist I've never understood.

Nobody undertands the Yugioh banlist lol

There are broken cards allowed, some not-so-broken cards prohibited or limited, and many limitations are in order to promote a certain metagame that involves the usage of newest cards, even if they are blantantly broken.

The topic is over, but I saw mention of "386" in something online Pokemon related. What exactly is that?

Skullgirls is a very underrated game, I simply love it.
Now that it has revivied from its ashes, looks stronger and more promising than ever.
Indeed! Skullgirls is awesome! I also think it has one of the best interactive tutorials for introducing beginners to 2D fighters ever created. It basically covers everything you would ever need to know in practically any 2D fighting game and gives you great practice for it. I also really like how each character is a 'master' of a certain style or tech. Like, Cerebella is the uber grappler, Painwheel is the 'Fly-cancel-everything-you-can-think-of', Peacock is the Zoner/Camper from Hell. It's really neat how you can assign assists any action that you want that's possible in one input.

That means we're still waiting for Gheb, thread has been as "standby" since then.

That's the advantage of having a small roster, every character is more unique.
Also, the DLCs, Squiggly was planned to be a "mode-shift" character, which would work as 3 different playstyles, one of them being a zombie-like state where she would do nothing but hop around (iirc).
I am not sure how would Umbrella work, though.

But I was sure that I saw it mentioned as something concrete, like a time-period, or a gen, or a certain metagame, or something... :ohwell: Here's an example:
Well, I haven't played Pokemon competitively since the prime time of the 386 metagame but I've always been under the impression that smogon was way too premature when it came to banning Pokemon. Point in case is Mewtwo who has rightfully banned in the RBY metagame but was actually not broken after that and could've probably been re-legalized for GSC and everything that followed. Also, by now - I believe - there are so many "broken" Pokemon that that bunch by itself could form a healthy metagame of its own with like 30ish [?] different Pokemon being usable making a ban on any of them look a bit questionable to me. But like I said, I haven't played in a while so idk, I think Pokemon were banned more hastily than I think they should've and I don't think MK is good enough to allow for a comparison anyway.

:059:
There were more like that too, and I think I saw DMG and a few others using the same term.

It would be cool if Umbrella was designed to work best as an assist for Parasoul. :awesome:
