I think :rob:'s spread should look something like this. Unsure whether to put :gw: as disadvantage or even, but I feel he juggles :rob: well enough and can kill him better plus absorb laser. Also unsure whether to put :wario: as even or not.

ROBs not good anymore. he gets juggled to easily and can't really apply pressure except with cool gyro tricks but...in the end they're just tricks. chars still fun though XD

Oh come on, Sonic is his easiest matchup? How exactly does he lose as badly as Ganondorf (I'm not even going to bother trying to convince you its even, since we will never see a good ROB fight a good Sonic) and WORSE than link?

If anything ROB really feels like one of Sonics easier matchups, with all the combo food, kill setups and how well he gets past ROBs spacing game.

His Dair is pretty threatening too, on top of that, his bair can mixup his landing. Maybe I just don't know the secrets though. A buddy of mine has a pretty decent ROB, and it's one of the few characters he plays that I legitimately get frustrated with (Mostly because I'm used to dealing with his DDD at this point, and his TL and Diddy still need work. Any other char is free)

robs dair isnt threatening at all. hitbox is smaller than the graphic.

and back when pikapika was consistent, i dont think i ever saw him lose to rob... rob just seems to have the problem of not being able to apply enough pressure. rob basically hits you away, and shoots a lasers to follow up. and thats it... then he throws gyro to keep you from getting in, and if you do, then he hits you out and shoots a laser. falco, fox, zss, ike, sonic, most characters can have some means of follow up/trap game once they hit you. against rob its just like... nothing.

Ganondorf doesn't even do that bad vs ROB. It's like +1 ROB's favor imho. I do think Rob beats Marth though.

General opinion in the Marth boards on Marth vs. Rob is split between the even and -1 camps.

I haven't played the MU super Recently since Drake went to and returned from BC, but I've historically been in the even camp.

If anything, ROB is the one who has the advantage, but it's VERY close IMO.

Lada played Verm at Apex and won 2-0 in some pretty close games.

And as for Sonic V. ROB, I see that MU ALL the time (just look at my states PR) and ROB definitely has an advantage. X is definitely a bit better than Lada, but when Lada is on his game, he can shut down X.

I've been convinced ROB/Sonic was evenish since my first tournament, since I usually only barely lose to ROB players who destroy me with other characters.

Could just be that there isn't a good ROB main 'round these parts, though. But still, -2 seems pretty implausible, like Sonic being fifth worst.

Wario and game and watch aren't even, -1 yes

the mu spread below is the majority of opinions from the ROB boards as well as other top level proffessionals i've spoken about his matchups with. BTW Lucas is not even you Pink Fresh fan boy it's +1 what on earth made you think that was even?

this is the opinion of OTHER ROB mains overall if it were me Luc and Snake would have been put -2 and Sonic would have been put even or -1 but the point is your vastly overating this character, if you don't know matchups that well for someone why argue that they're better/worse on a topic you barely have a clue about. whilst the ROB boards do not feel the same why i do about Fox we all pretty much a agree that the matchup is pretty hard. ZSS is on twice because the severity of the matchup after a point is down to whether the ZSS can pull off the foot stool infinite, the reason it hasn't become a unanimous -3 is because people aren't seeing foot stool infinites happen to ROB outside of the matchup except for Japan. King Dedede whilst horrible most are calling it -2 because ROB can make D3 aproach him. Yoshi i put even, i haven't seen it argued within the ROB boards but i put that figure as it is from what the Yoshi mains i've talked to feel about it e.g. Delta COD and a few others. It should be even though.

Also the truthful, compromise matchup average for ROB still shows he's a bad character imo ignoring +1 Sonic which i personally disagree with and Samus and Falcon which i think are close matches the only characters he beats are low tiers and he looses the majority of matchups in the game.

I thought you'd have put Pikachu as +1 for ROB it's still in Pika's favour though

Sonic +2 that and the fact people had to tell you how severe Zamus is prooves you do not have sufficient knowledge of this character to be arguing this with me. :p

Most robs have argued that Marth vs rob was even. Some even argued Marth took it which I thought was stupid.

Robs problem s that his best stuff is easily telegraphed, he can't kill and he just kinda uses his range to swat you back. He lacks the other attributes that footsie based chars have. He doesn't have dk level damage with high risk high reward, lucarios combo ability, or Marths ability to set up trap situations consistently. Also his best poke is unsafe even when fully spaced. He is kinda linear too.

Idk there are just better choices if you want a a char based on pokes and solid space control.

And i meant over that specific topic clearly there are some things i don't know that you do about other characters everyone has different areas of knowledge and opinions on them. But ROB i clearly know more about ROB's matchups than you do. Purely because A Sonic is not -2ed by ROB, I know Pikachu definetly beats ROB by +1 i've said that since 2008.

That and people have been calling out your mu figures alot more than they have mine I think some people were pretty surprised at the fact you didn't know Zero suit samus was so severe for ROB. Myself included lol

And this even prooves how biast towards lucas you are how can even put that as even... *deep breath

No really i've never heard of anyone think Lucas V ROB is even

^ no i think he's somewhere within the top 10 as in 10th place at least I think 6thto 10th is good for him but top 5 and anywhere lower don't seem right. Personally i think Falco is a better character which is why i'd put Falco 5th not snake

The best posts are generally made by people with a post count around my own amount, which I have deduced totally objectively and all. Hasn't Marth officially gone even with DK/Wolf/Rob since 2008?
