Brawl Back Room doesn't work with rule sets any more. And I can't really reveal what the general consensus is inside the brawl backroom rule set committee (yes they're different things) because of the whole leaking thing.
A lot of people are wanting to remove MK from the competitive game. More places are running MK banned tournaments and many players are advocating it (I've seen almost the same opinion by every top player other than m2k tbh).

MK in doubles is just ridiculous and when it comes to singles no one can be bothered to use him in NSW, but I don't necessarily want him to remain there forever.

so what are the threads about a unity ruleset about in the brawl competitive discussion forums. not trying to question you just qanting to know but dont really have the time to read through all the threads to find out.

Well $5 venue fee was always compulsory, but people were able to choose not to have a $10 meal.

From what I just gathered they're expecting everyone to buy a meal.

I'm still an unconfirmed probable. I've mentioned it to my friends and so far Fishy and Enemy (for those who remember them) have said they're probably coming too. If I can come I can hopefully bring my TV again, and hopefully Enemy can bring his Wii.

Still yet to talk the other person who regularly smashes with us into coming (he's not so keen on the scene)

Melee is sooooo much faster than brawl.

That's my excuse anyway. Besides, I didn't say there wouldn't be melee, I was just unsure about timing since ACL took the whole weekend. Speaking of timing, how's this going down? Also, is it $5 per event or for all events?

I'll be running DE brackets for everything with stuff I deem soso to be a combination of single elimination or best of ones (Melee Doubles, Smash 64, early parts of the bracket for Middle Brawl and Melee Singles?)

I'll be at the venue at around 11.30 (maybe alittle earlier).
Tournaments will start at 11.45-12.
I'm doing this much later time because:
a. I'm not running pools
b. I'm willing to cut things so it ends before midnight
c. Everyone is always late - if you're still late for this I'm going to hate you (this does not apply to you new guys ).

Which groove are you looking at? My friend tells me H-Satsuki has killer 1 frame links for her BnB lol. Have you got a link to the MB wiki? 'tis your friend
