im new to the scene, started playin brawl competitively for a few months now, lurked on the forums here for a while, wanting to attend any meets/comps in sydney...

do tourneys in sydney still exist o.o

hope ill be able to get to know the rest of your sydney-ers, though i got hsc this yr and ill probs be inactive.

Unfortunely this scene is pretty much dead until something drastic happens.

Unless you live in WSyd where there are alot of meets you can attend.

Airport meets anyone?

Requires going past security so you can't bring your gangster guns n shiz (sorry luke) but has the benefit of being uber cool playing brawl with a laptop screen while also providing the benefits of a food court and general shopping mall.

Actually, I'm not sure if I've seen that many power points at sydney airport, Arr well.

I'm not working on weekends any more, so I'd be more likely to be willing to go to meets (++) or -maybe- host a meet myself (so/so awkward). Having to travel like RT 4-5 hours going to ted's is a killer for enthusiasm.

That been said I would consider turning up to a tournament in the 2nd half of semester or in the holidays, have them on saturday though.
