No type of modified Brawl will ever become standard.

Like every other version of modified brawl, they will be played possibly competitively for a couple of months to a year with most people going "Brawl Division is SOOO GOODDD" then a couple months later almost all of its followers will be like "wow, this game is complete **** **** **** **** ***!! **** Brawl Division"

It bothers me seeing this happen all the time. That's why I never even give them a chance.

That and I like standard Brawl ALOT so no reason to find an alternate for me.

and yeah ally im being biased. so are over 100 posters in the 1.1 thread saying snake would be the best character haha

I'm just telling you to train him at something useful, 1.1 won't do anything for him as of now he needs to work on other MUs which you could help him. Also I could just use the 'Oh but it's 1.1 maybe there's a different way to fight Snake etc' Just like how people thought Snake beat MK after I started doing work. It's just stupid and needs some time to develop (if it ever does...)

Also I can see Wario killing around 45% with the fart, sounds much more broken no? I think Wario is definatly the best now.

And I don't think Nairo is the best at the Snake MU/MK MU. that's what I meant. I wouldn't rely on your own brother to say stuff like 'Snake is godly cuz blahblah' + I haven't seen you play in too long, no clue how good you are now, probably the same in my opinion but stuff changes.

I hope you understand a lil better after using my broke *** english, if not, sorry I don't mean to harm you or your brother in any way at all I got nothing against you guys, ever.

It's been two years, you'd think by now n*ggas would just learn to accept Brawl for what it is.

I'm not tryna RELEARN all the new follow-ups and **** for Sonic and all my other characters. I'm fine with Brawl the way it is. If n*ggas wanna play gay, let 'em or go play SF or something.

Well the difference between this and brawl mods is that this isn't a brawl mod. It's Brawl.

Brawl mods die out for many reasons: It sucks, the developers suck, the game loses popularity, people don't feel like hacking wiis or putting **** on the sd cards, etc.

All anyone has to do in this is go to the BRAWL settings. no effort. I'd try it out if I had a wii/brawl lol.

Can someone tell me what changes 1.1 (im assuming damage ratio) does to the game? To me, it just seems that everything has slightly more knockback and therefore kills earlier.

It's not a modified version of brawl but its still a major change than brawl currently. I have no issue with people trying new things, but I just dont want anyone getting their hopes up for this becoming standard.

I wouldn't even play Brawl with 1.1 damage like that either.

Casual players tend to play at 3 to 5 stocks with/without items on FD. Brawl tourney rules are similar to that so when I play these casual players at a store tourney or randomly at school/their house I can play with them and compete using my skills.

Just about 0% of casual brawlers play damage ratio 1.1. So I won't have the intention to practice/play brawl 1.1 when most casuals are playing the regular rules. 1.1 won't prep me for normal Brawl tournies or playing with casuals.

I just have a problem with not being able to play what the majority of people in the world are playing. If Brawl wasn't popular, I wouldn't go to tournies for it. Thats just me.

Inui had to beat Chibo and Ebo to get 5th. Isn't 5th money at this?

Edit: Squall and TUSM played round 2, whereas every other member of UFB is extremely spaced out. Zucco, Cheese, Inui, and Kingtoon have relatively random or unranked second rounds (though every second round is at least moderately good, **** this region is scary). Shouldn't the recepients of second rounds like this be the top four seeds, barring upsets? I have trouble believing that Cheese is a top 4 seed at this, considering he hasn't been to a real tournament since Raleigh and Vex/Zucco/Inui/Kingtoon or Squall in some order should be the top 4. Ironically, Vex has a notably harder round 2 than any of the players listed above despite (if I recall correctly) having the most recent accomplishments (when Umbra did exist in the scene, he was ranked something like 2nd in PA, no?).

The six byes in the bracket went to Inui, xzax, Vex, Zucco, Squall, and Cheese. If these were indeed the top 6 then I'm sorry, but I'm speechless and this is one of the worst brackets I've laid eyes upon. Whoever made the bracket did not stay consistent in their distribution of byes/round 2 match difficulty (or had some horrid bias against Kingtoon; given that he's 99% likely to beat Cheese, he'll likely end up in seed 4's rightful spot anyway though), decided Inui was worthy of not just Zucco (debatable), but ALSO VEX, and was drunk enough to give a top 4 (according to byes obviously, but this was likely just a consistency error) seed to Cheese.

Wish I could have made it, unfortunately I couldn't assemble a carpool to make it even reasonably affordable. Sorry guys.

Cheese earned his seed. He beat Kingtoon and Zucco to get 4th. I was seed 1, and I earned it. Vex was 2, Zucco was 3. How is that wrong? Chibo made the bracket, and it was good. Your opinions of skill, as usual, are so off from reality that it is hard to take you seriously at all.

Oddly enough I agree here. Inui was just telling me on aim that it was a lot of fun. I'm sure it was for him, but by the looks of it I wouldn't have enjoyed it the slightest.
