Also, imo, Spam should be ranked anyway. M2k barely plays in NJ but we still rank him #1. I believe that the issue was that ranked players are tournament threats? (too lazy to go back and check the exact wording) People know who Spam is, and should be afraid of him, regardless of whether he plays or not. He should be ranked #2 imo.

you can't fear someone that you will never see in a tournament. do you really think spam cares about being ranked? he said that he doesn't want to play brawl singles anymore. until he says otherwise he should not be considered for ranking. if he never plays again there is absolutely no sense in putting him in the rankings.

I don't think I've made this clear enough times, apparently...

The rankings are a numerical representation of your tournament threat level to other players, in which case teh_spamerer is absolutely no threat to anyone due to him saying he'd never enter singles again. He only entered two total singles events so far while three are required. This is why activity matters. If you're not active, you're not a threat.

He'll be in the "these players aren't active, but if they decide to show up, they will **** your balls off" section, like RyokoYaksa.

Note that you won on Jungle Japes in that set, which in my eyes completely invalidates the entire thing.

People may or may not share this opinion, but IMO winning on JJ is akin to winning with items on.
