Both IGN and Gamespot sucks. I usually check metacritic before buying a game.
The irony is that so far on Metacritic, IGN has given the game its best review.

But yeah, I'll definitely check this game out.

That's not the point. There's only one other "good" review of it on Metacritic.

That said, there's only four reviews, and if I've learned anything in Stats in the last month, it's that that sample is way too small to judge.

I can see why some people would have a problem with it.

Some of the mechanics disappointed me from how I thought it was.

BUT, it was those same mechanics that bring strategy to the game.

IGN, just by score are generally the most leninent, even if their reviews in text make no sense sometimes. Generally, for a AAA game, their score is up there in terms of "range" of what a game gets. For example, Skyward Sword got a 10 from IGN, with the MC score being a 93. Uncharted 3 got a 10, with the MC score being 92. Etc. etc.

I often check multiple site's reviews before a purchase.

Although the site I trust the most would be Screwattack

I tust Metacritic, but I do read IGN because I get a good laugh from their reviews, especially their video reviews, since those vids are the ones that can contradict their written reviews at times.

My biggest complaint about IGN is that they give in way too much to hype.

Pretty sure they get paid by Activision.

So I've heard a lot of talk that MGS is really bad without circle pad pro.
Guess I won't be getting it, oh well more money towards kid Icarus.

If you preorder Kid Icarus at Gamestop, you get the original Kid Icarus IN 3D as well

Well, if you played the demo, you saw that the default controls were VERY awkward to use. The Circle Pad Pro makes things more tolerable for those who disliked the default controls. In my opinion, its better with it, but other people may not mind it.

Also, I cannot wait for Kid Icarus. I need to pay off the rest of my pre-order one of these days.

Big Pokemon new coming this weekend.

My money is on some stupid sidegame that I'll never get. Something like pokemon music park where you get to see pokemon dancing to bad JPop or pokemon pets where you get to pet the pokemon with the stylus and drag and drop items which they sort of interact with

So I heard a rumor that KI comes with a stand or something?

Edit: found some pics, it actually looks nice.
Hopefully it will make recording mk7 easier

So much Hype for kid Icarus!

It's not gonna be a next gen. Pokemon already has a set pattern for when new gens come out and that'll probably be in about 4 more years instead of tomorrow, and that'd mean the anime would still have to finish up to move on to gen VI.

My money is either on Pokemon Gray or some really ****ty pokemon spin off that only casuals who aren't aware that there's better games than that will get.

Could it possibly be a 3D remake of an older generation game?
(I'm not a big pokemon player so sorry if that sounds stupid)

A lot of people have been hoping for a Ruby/Sapphire remake, of all things.

I honestly doubt a new remake is coming either. According to pattern the remake is supposed to come later than this year. FRLG and HGSS both came out like one to two years before the new gen was announced so I don't see a Ruby/Sapphire remake coming till much later. There's also the possibility there might not be one coming period because of how up to date Gen III was compared to I and II. I mean Gen I was missing two entire types completely and Gen II's stat system was a lot different than the way we have EVs and IVs now to determine stats. At least Gen III is somewhat up to date mechanics wise, so that's why it's not completely 100% possible a remake might come

I'm still banking on Pokemon Gray or a ****ty Pokepark game that I'll never consider getting. However, if it's a new Mystery Dungeon you can bet your *** I'm getting that game. I loved the other mystery dungeons in the series and I'd pick that **** up in a heartbeat if that's what's really coming to the 3DS

Looks like Grey.

But to tie in with Pokemon and 3DS, B/W looks like **** on the 3DS. I don't get why it has to make the graphics so blurry.

I thought that the 3DS had an option to change whether DS games had stretched-out screens or originally sized screens. I'm unable to find it, though.

I thought that too.

Actually just looked it up and if you hold Start+Select while the game loads it will make it sharper. Makes the screen really small, though.

You don't do it that way, you just have to towards the inside really tight. If you get a good setup on your kart you can get boosts pretty easily, even on a straightaway.

I'll be getting close to buy MK7 and a 3DS in a few weeks.

I'll be buying a lot of games, lol. All of them are too good, especially black and white 2.

But the thing is, why 2?
Shouldn't game freak name a new version for it?

I think this is the first time that they decided to name it like that.

I wish people would stop implying it should be Pokemon Grey. This is a sequel, not the third version of the same game. Black and White 2 is a direct sequel, not a remake.

I'm guessing just time scale. Black and White 2 will probably take place directly after as opposed to 3 years later and it will be in the same region likely.

Thoughts on the protagonist? Think it'll be the same kids or new people? I'm banking on new kids.
