I'm lucky because this is my first handheld since Game Boy Color. I have so many good DS games to catch up on.Well, I can always sit around and wait for 3DS to be jail broken to say the least We'll see.
Yes, it takes some getting used to (I didn't fully get used to viewing the 3D until about 20 or so minutes of 3D time). Is it just me, or can the 3D on the 3DS give players a headache?
A couple of my friends came over for a mini smashfest today (most of our group couldn't attend) and he brought his 3DS and Ocarina of Time. Prior to this, I hadn't really gotten the chance to play a 3DS, but I checked it out for a couple of minutes, and the 3D started to bother me a little bit. Is this normal for somebody who isn't used to it??
Keep in mind, the 3DS isn't just a DS with 3D capabilities, it's an altogether new system that is much more powerful.Oh ok. Maybe its just me then. If I purchased one anytime soon (which I wanted to as soon as it gets multiple awesome games) then I probably would not get a lot of use out of the 3D. It's kind of disappointing that would be the case, but I'd rather not worry about headaches and other health problems from it.
The cartridges also have a higher capacity than Xbox games.
Regular DS games were the same way too. It's still true IMO because it's capable of doing that, its just some of the games are so simple they don't need a cartridge that big. Others on the other hand are huge in comparison and have a lot more depth. Really it just depends on the game they are creating and the company. There's a good chance I'll be getting a 3DS for free in a week or two...with that being said, I might just end up selling it to get the Vita or Wii U later on.
It's gonna be a tough choice =/.
This is somewhat false. Depending on the company, they can opt to go with different cartridges. For example, RE: Mercenaries for the 3DS is only a 2 GB cartridge, while the actual RE 3DS game to come out later will be 8 GB.
But that's just Capcom being lazy imo.
Jill will finally reveal that she's actually Barry Burton in disguise. That's my current big hype because the curiousity I have from those trailers they showed really makes me wonder what will happen between Jill and Chris.
