I haven't seen the episode in a while to get a grasp context, but I mean, the falling in love when beaten in battle or because the opposing character was putting in alot of effort and never giving up is not a foreign concept for TV series, movies and in general. Heck, I'm positive there are a few myths with that setting.
My intuition is that Pokemon is a veiled attempt at satire and that in this story, human treatment of Pokemon is representative of our real lives, with the message being love but with some subversive themes added in that Western audiences in particular would either misinterpret or just plain "not get."

I guess it’s technically possible with AT’s like Dr. Kawashima and Skull Kid, but yeah…I’d definitely like to see more AT’s that screw with everyone indiscriminately.
Well, i meant an assist that only deals damage to you, while ignoring the rest. It would be a troll scenario that the assist doesn't obey and instead attacks you.

I think I'd sooner like to see another adventure mode with cutscenes and more of a coherent storyline from a future Smash game than a cinematic universe.

And honestly, I do think a Smash Bros. movie itself could be done well...but without all the usual aspects of a "cinematic universe" or deep lore about how the crossover works. Just give some slight context, maybe some characters expressing confusion while others are a bit more aware of it, but keep the overall reason behind how they all ended up in the same setting for a tournament ambiguous. Sort of like the games themselves, barring maybe the first one where the characters are all implied to be toys brought to life.

How about we add pokeballs and have a Victreebel eat you for 10 seconds.

As for current items Black Knight already kinda does this by blocking same with Mother Brain kinda but not always "bad" just sometimes gets you jammed up... And then the ones that reverse gravity , make you invisible, etc are all "hazards"... Though I appreciate Perkilator Perkilator enthusiasm I hate those items lol especially the mushroom that makes you go backwards or whatever.

More like crediting them with something for adults to ponder while still being entertaining for children.
Unfortunately, I'm more interested in pondering whether or not MechaMew2 could be made canon as Mewtwo's Paradox Pokemon counterpart...

Yes, I'm a bit weird at times, how could you tell?

For a new Pokémon anime movie, specifically Pokémon movie 24 that will be released maybe sometime this year, I'm thinking it will be with Liko and Roy this time or it may be with Ash and his Pikachu again or maybe... I write "maybe" because it's not certain, let alone impossible, but I think Ash and his Pikachu will meets up with Liko and Roy. But as I wrote it is impossible as unlikely to happen I would say finally. Although this last one I'm writing now will also be impossible, I was thinking that together they would face the Team Rocket that will have teamed up with the Explorers.

Wow, I can't wait for paid tournament players to market the game in typical clickbait fashion, causing the game to be shrouded by an artificial fanbase that will bail within a few months time after the game releases because the corporation refuses to hold off on the project until it has a healthy amount of content to start with for the third time in the last 3 years!
Now all we need is a Hasbro platform fighter to go through this cycle and that'll be all the relevant US cartoon channels this will have happened with.

Just because the video clickbaits doesn't mean you have to as well

There's no actual evidence in the video. The argument is a Multiversus leak said other companies are looking to make their own Smash clones, and this dude just assumed Disney was referenced because of their cast, and having aped the concept of some other Nintendo IPs, like Mario Kart.

They might. But there's no evidence of it. And Smash would require a level of violence against Disney characters from other Disney characters that may be too much for Disney. Not Marvel, Star Wars, etc. But idk if they want Darth Vader force choking Minnie Mouse. I'm sure Nintendo had reservations about their own characters beating each other up, originally.

Also despite Disney's IP stable, no Smash game other than Smash ever really finds much success. Either that or they're so low budget they can get by with a small audience. So even if this did happen, its success seems dubious.

But did DreamMix had the Monopoly guy, Pinkie Pie, Mr. Potato Head, Snake Eyes, a Tonka truck, The Beholder or even Peppa Pig? and Negan from The Walking Dead? :4pacman:

does nobody read the pokedex?
I sure do.

"It is whispered that any child who mistakes Drifloon for a balloon and holds on to it could wind up missing."
"These Pokémon are called the "Signpost for Wandering Spirits." Children holding them sometimes vanish."
"Stories go that it grabs the hands of small children and drags them away to the afterlife. It dislikes heavy children."

I can forgive the child murder. But fat shaming? That's where I draw the line!

Pokemon legends establishs that the baloon killing kids is just an urban legend
its debut games established that it's to light to do this

i dunno what that is

A Disney Platform Fighter (smash clone ) is Coming

fake

notice the repeated use of the phrasing saying that it's just a rumour. combined with that fact that they don't use the rumours style when describing the fact that it gets pulled by children it is safe to conclude that drifloon can't actually carry off children and people just think it does cause they've seen it try. in mush the same way the blame absol for disaster when it's trying to warn people

As much as I don't like writing it, I think I'll give up on the idea of Waluigi starring in his own video game series, like appearing in future Wario games as one of the main characters and releasing a baby version of Waluigi and of course as you know I am writing about Baby Waluigi. So I give up my thinking on this matter.

Honestly, even leaving aside the fact that a Smash Bros film universe would be an extraordinarily bad idea from the start, the funniest thing is easily the extent some people think it would go.

Like there are some people that think it will not only include every Nintendo franchise on the roster, and even Nintendo franchises that aren't yet on Smash's roster, but all of the third parties as well.

If for some reason a Smash cinematic universe happened, let's be real. There wouldn't be third parties to muddy the rights even further, especially considering many of them already have their film rights with specific studios and companies. And going off of that? We also 99% wouldn't have Pokémon. The way the rights for that franchise work is well beyond the scope of something like this, in addition to the issues a lot of the third parties have.

And you would almost certainly NOT be getting movies for games that aren't even on the roster yet. Nintendo's a soulless megacorp. They'd absolutely go with larger name franchises that are still active over dead ones, and that goes double for dead franchises that don't even have a character in Smash. As much as I'd love movies for games like Hotel Dusk or The Mysterious Murasame Castle...it's not gonna happen lol. Let's be real here. They're not going for the title of Biggest Box Office Bomb by releasing a Chibi-Robo trilogy.

Even if this universe somehow got made, anything beyond the greater Mario universe, The Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Pikmin, Animal Crossing, and Splatoon, with Kirby, Fire Emblem, and Xenoblade being a step lower but still very well possible just due to their splits in ownership not being nearly as bad as Pokémon.

Beyond this, the only things I could see maybe getting in are Punch-Out!! (since it's already established as canon in the Mario movie anyway and could bank on the specific western nostalgia for it), Star Fox (if only because Miyamoto seems committed to doing things with it...it just depends on the extent), and F-Zero (and by this I mean Captain Falcon just appearing in the Smash movie... we're not getting F-Zero films). Anything else would be wildly surprising unless someone really wants to make an ARMS movie or something.

And honestly even all of that seems wildly optimistic about the extent it would go. It really does feel like people are enamored more by the idea of a Nintendo Cinematic Universe than they are about the logistics of how it would actually function. Like...this post only went into the "would the films even be made" angle, and not even any of the story or tonal issues that are alarmingly present.
A Nintendo/Smash Cinematic Universe stands almost no chance of being good... but I really want to see someone try. Trying to make this stupid ****ing idea actually work seems like a really difficult, but fun, puzzle. If I was in the film industry I would at least try to tinker with it.

Also I would like an ARMS movie, and so would you.

No evidence of a game being made until it gets announced ; is how all video game companies want almost all of their games to market. This is a moot point.

What makes you believe ; i think it will be successful ?
Or that i am even very interested in a game like this , should it come out ?
which i might be if the company does the characters i would want right.

No but it had Tyson from Beyblade and Solid snake before his smash days.

The fact that there was a Transformers metal gear crossover at one point is amazing

I'd like to see a Disney TV show fighter so that Grunkle Stan can square off against the likes of Perry the Platypus, Anne Boonchuy and Emperor Belos.

We will know about Nintendo's new console sometime in 2024 as president Shuntaro Furukawa said a few days ago, to be precise sometime in April. But I also want to see for this new console what more it will have than the Switch.

I’m fairly certain if he had said that it would have been bigger news

I think regardless of when it comes out, to answer the question, there's probably going to be a continuation of the dual mode hardware. It's an insanely popular option and the Switch executed it really well. I'd like to think they'll improve the online experience, as Smash is not the only game with janky online, and I hope the NSO library remains active and playable so I don't have to have 2 consoles hooked up. I'm not sure if beyond NSO there is backward compatibility, but maybe.
