Dark Meta Knight should be an alt costume for Meta Knight He's a dark copy of Meta Knight.
They're the same character! Morpho Knight is just Galacta Knight fused with a butterfly.
I mean technically, Morpho is just the butterfly (called a "butterfly of paradise" in Star Allies Japanese pause menus, said to appear after something perishes and bring about judgement day) and according to his figurine in Forgotten Land, it feasts on the most powerful soul it can find and then becomes the scarlet-clad knight, so Galacta Knight's soul may have just been devoured like Fecto Forgo's and possibly subsequently released when Morpho is beaten, since Chaos Elfilis exists even after Fecto Forgo is devoured.

I’d love to see it expanded with team attacks on switch in and other mechanics like other team based fighting games. If they pushed that enough, I think I could be okay with removing the pre-set teams Smash has already and making them their own characters. My only concern then is that some characters may not make the roster that otherwise could have as part of a set team. For example, I don’t think we’d have ever gotten solo Squirtle, Ivysaur, Mythra, Sheik, or Zero Suit Samus if transform duos were never a thing.
Going back to this, I think I'll do a 50/50 split right now:

The obvious correct answer is Galactia Knight with Meta Knight's exact Brawl moveset.
And TBH I only say that half-ironically. Don't actually make him broken ofc, that's bad for the game, but a Meta Knight semi-clone that gives his kit the same sense of "excess" as someone like Sepiroth.... (rubs hands) Oh yes.I wouldn't be opposed.

I honestly think it could benefit from being a composite/original design instead of being tied to one game. I'd like a variety of hazards from different games anyhow like podoboos from SMB1 and the Reznor Wheel from SMW (Actual Reznors not included).
I'm in the UK and ordered a copy this week (it was like £5 on amazon) - it's certainly not good, but honestly had a good time with it and can imagine at least playing a round or two of the custom quiz at parties. Still surprised the main theme wasn't present in Ultimate honestly. I’m also for the New Super Mario Bros. (most likely either the DS or Wii) version. I suspect this becomes more likely if we get a port/remake of one of these games.
Undertale, I mostly agree. Dunno if I'd go as far as to say most likely third party but it does have pretty much everything going for it rn. But Deltatrune? I doubt it. As a playable character at least. I don't think they'd put in a character from a unfinished game. I imagine side content from Deltarune would be fair game tho

I'd say a stage at best, unless they decide to make Horace into a playable character.
Honestly this would be the funniest newcomer imo - he'd work as well, just give him moves from the 1, 2, switch minigames. Absolutely don't want him in any way, but I don't think I'd have a choice but to respect it as an insane pick.

A new remix that's just a medley/arrangement of some tracks from the game. It happened with Freakyforms, it happened with Snipperclips, so I'm pretty sure if 1-2 Switch gets any content it'll be that.
Honestly, I would go for a pretty generic Bowser's Castle instead of anything specific to a game, similar to most 64 and Melee stages. If I had to choose specific inspiration, probably 3D Land and SNES BC3's redesign, those are pretty archetypical.
I wouldn't be surprised if they swap out Phantom Slash for an Echo attack, but I'm pretty sure it would be almost entirely cosmetic. Similar to how Pit and Link got alterations to their Down Bs to better represent their new games.
