Too Majestic for Gender
Incineroar wound up being the sixth most popular Alolan Pokémon from the big poll earlier this year.
That's pretty damn popular.

Would be disappointing if the pass ended without one of themSora from Kingdom Hearts and Crash Bandicoot.
I don't think we're talking about the same Pokemon because that concept art is amazing. One look at Incineroar (NO MATTER THE YEAR) would tell you that he wouldn't be popular, Mimikyu was creative, unique and factually godlike. Incineroar's addition was simply a blunder, no refuting it.
Wasn't that fanart though?Still wish they went with the original design of that saber-toothed cat. Would have been nice having another quadrupedal character not to mention a freakin saber-toothed cat.
It was?Wasn't that fanart though?
And the early fanart too.I don't think we're talking about the same Pokemon because that concept art is amazing.
Unique? It's another Pikachu lookalike. One look at Incineroar (NO MATTER THE YEAR) would tell you that he wouldn't be popular, Mimikyu was creative, unique and factually godlike. Incineroar's addition was simply a blunder, no refuting it.
Except it's not that, that's what its entire joke is.Unique? It's another Pikachu lookalike.
I'd say Bowser, which granted is still a pretty damn long time.Sakurai added Incineroar because he wanted a wrestler character, simple as that. It was too early to tell who would be popular, and either way it's nice to have another grappler. I think Incini's the first dedicated grappler since, what, Donkey Kong? That's a pretty long time.
That just reminds me how amazing Pokedex entries can be.And the early fanart too.
He wasn't much of a grappler until his revamp in Smash 4, was he? If so, I haven't been paying much attention.I'd say Bowser, which granted is still a pretty damn long time.
That still means it looks like a Pikachu...Except it's not that, that's what its entire joke is.
It's an amorphous blob of shadow hiding behind a crappy pikachu costume rather than another electric rodent.
We don't really have a goo monster. Closest thing I can think of is Muk or Grimer. Maybe Helix, but he's not that amorphous.
Let me introduce you guys to each other. It's an amorphous blob of shadow hiding behind a crappy pikachu costume rather than another electric rodent.
But the joke is it doesn't look like a Pikachu despite trying to.That still means it looks like a Pikachu...
Well he's had Koopa Claw in Melee and Flying Slam in Brawl and beyond, both being command grabs so I think somewhat he was always intended to be a heavyweight grappler. He wasn't much of a grappler until his revamp in Smash 4, was he? If so, I haven't been paying much attention.
In a perfect world, we would've gotten a Scizor by now.I will say that Smash lacks insectoid and undead fighters... Unless you count the zombie skin.
Yes, but only at surface-level observation. That still means it looks like a Pikachu...
I didn't know the claw was a command grab. Neat. I also have to admit I thought Flying Slam was a Smash 4 addition instead of Brawl.Well he's had Koopa Claw in Melee and Flying Slam in Brawl and beyond, both being command grabs so I think somewhat he was always intended to be a heavyweight grappler.
To be fair, a lot of heavyweights have had a command grab. I was mainly thinking someone who focuses on grabs as their first priority, like Incineroar's grabs having more strength and Donkey Kong having the cargo throws. Not sure if Bowser fully counts since he seems to more focused on "armor through everything" than grabs.Well he's had Koopa Claw in Melee and Flying Slam in Brawl and beyond, both being command grabs so I think somewhat he was always intended to be a heavyweight grappler.

I'd probably unironically main Shy Guy.If we got another 'generic enemy' character, who would you want it to be?
A Lynel. If we got another 'generic enemy' character, who would you want it to be?
No, because he's not Geno. There's a Question I got to Ask
If Isaac Was just a Spirit just like Geno, and didn't have his Assist Come back (or get a Base Game Mii Costume), Would he be as Popular as Geno in Speculation (or even more)?
Sure they are. Amongst Smash fans anyway. I'm not saying every Pokemon in Smash has the same level of popularity, but all of them get a natural boost by being in such a huge game.Puff isn't popular, Pichu isn't popular, what are you talking about? Ivysaur's family is popular sure, but that's because of their starter status.
You know, I'm not even sure if you're joking. Why are you so angry?Incineroar is not a fan favourite in any country, if Puff and Pichu were such resounding successes they wouldn't have been cut/considered to be cut. I am so sick and tired of these three Pokemon, I have their renders on a dart board that I use every night, Mimikyu is way better in every way, he should have been in
Relevantoh boy, can't wait to partake in the discussion on Smashboards dot co-

Technically Monokuma counts as a generic enemy if you consider the Ultra Despair Girls side game, where every enemy is a variant of MonokumaIf we got another 'generic enemy' character, who would you want it to be?
fire emblem and geno discussion isn't a constant reminder of my failures, an eternal reminder that one of my favorite Pokémon isn't good enough for smash.Better than Fire Emblem or Geno discussion.
you sure none of them are piloted by canonl height olimars?... who knows.. maybe smash olimar is a mecha piloted by a tiny olimar inside.ROB is not a mecha. A mecha is a giant (usually humanoid) robot controlled by people.
Also not a mecha.
If I could have any generic enemy ever and wasn't thinking about moveset, I'd say Chobin Hood from Secret of Mana. They are little fox archer guys that I really adore. If we got another 'generic enemy' character, who would you want it to be?
GOD DAMMIT I WAS ABOUT TO POST THAT!There was a problem fetching the tweet
POTD
Xbox joke
This is how Bug Fables wins.I will say that Smash lacks insectoid and undead fighters... Unless you count the zombie skin.
