IIRC later people were connecting it with things from the Grinch Leak and getting wild. That was probably the most interesting pre-release speculation days for Smash IMO

Unironically, I kinda want Lethe so we can have a beast unit rep in Smash. I think it'd be pretty cool to have one, given that it's a more recent FE unit that managed to become semi-recurring already.

No. In fact, it's the opposite. My highest priority is to get characters that directly appeal to me, with my 2nd highest priority being to see people upset over characters they didn't want.

Banjo is in a different category because of how popular he is and also you can play his games on modern platforms. Crazier things have happened than Isaac potentially joining without a new game though. My gut is telling me that Isaac would have a better chance if we knew a game was coming

It's never a good idea to compare first and third parties. So much of how and why they get in can differ.

Four things.
