Wait a minute, that’s the trailer the Kosmos TGA grocery list mentioned... Sabi mentioning this line is pretty weird. It’s like they expect the trailer to disappear.

hmmm im a little skeptical that all those companies are deconfirmed due to the sheer number but we'll see

as for FP5: i have no clue

Wait, I must've missed something. So do we have definite confirmation that Capcom is out of the running for FP5? Or is it still in a limbo state where two separate leakers have conflicting information regarding its deconfirmation?

But really, is this even likely? As in, catching us all by surprise like last year?

It was a huge hit last year and also a GoTY candidate. I would say there's a decent chance. Would also round out the pass with a newer franchise seeing as most are from older series. Joker is from a recent game but tied to an older franchise.

In any case, my hype for #5 has been flushed down the toilet TBH (Madeline would still be fun tho it's just that i'm not excited for #5). Can't wait for this to be done with so we can move on to post-pass.

Verge deconfirmed Capcom which is no longer in limbo.
He also deconfirmed a ton of companies besides Capcom.

I wouldn't mind if it was Carmen. I grew up watching her TV show, even the game shows based of her games (although I never got the chance to play any of her games T_T). She's part of the reason why I love History, and Geography so much.

I've still to check out the new show yet, but it's high on my watchlist. seeing a reveal trailer of her and Joker trying to steal the same thing would be epic.

I'd love Ratchet and Kat as well. The first one at least makes sense because Ratchet is still relevant and has appeared on all Playstation consoles since his debut on the PS2, but Kat has only appeared on Vita and PS4, her franchise seems to be finished and she's not really that popular to became the Sony rep.

Again, I love Gravity Rush and Ratchet & Clank as a franchises, but no way it's happening. Even if Sakurai asks for them when talking to Sony, I seriously doubt Sony would accept. They would want to be represented by some of their more well known characters (like any other company I guess). Ratchet has a chance there, but that's it.

Kratos is the closest thing to a Playstation mascot and the most well known character from their IPs. In terms of moveset Kratos is not really that far behind from characters like Dante in terms of possibilities. Only with the iconic Blades of Chaos you have a really cool concept. Then you have the Leviathan Axe, which works like Thor's hammer.

But again, I refuse to believe Sony is likely lmao

Literally the first thing I woke up to this morning is pretty much every potential candidate ****ing dying. I genuinely don't have a goddamn clue who it could be anymore? Are Kratos and Geraldo Witcherman really the main frontrunners for this *****? Will we get something unexpected like Cooking Mama or CJ. Will Katalina actually win this time? Or is it actually one of the disconfirmed characters and we were all out here being made fools of this entire time. Regardless, it's gonna be fascinating to see how things pan out in the coming days.

Not offense but this is not the first time I read this reasoning and I don't get it. Why would they do that? There's literally 0 arguments to back this point.
Sony's not an evil company, they're not different from other companies and that of course includes Nintendo.

Kratos appeared in Soul Calibur and Shovel Knight, for example. I don't get why they wouldn't give Kratos for Smash.

Csrmen would be really cool and the new show is fun. Starts off alittle ok but has gotten better every episode.

Also is it possible that whoever verges source is is wrong about KOSMOS? That 1 4chan leak has been right so far, other then these shown at the VGAs. Maybe verges source thinks KOSMOS is a monolith soft rep, which verge hasnt deconfirmed i think.
