I also fail to see how "I think Kat is scum and would be happy if he got lynched" is in any way "safe and noncommital". There's twisted someone's words, and then there's just making s*** up. What I said was the exact opposite of safe and noncommital.

@vand - Who do you think we should look at if Guide is lynched and he is town?

Okay, I got to SSBF's monster post and it just pissed me off. I had been putting off playing LoL with friends, so I'm gonna do that now. If The Guide flips scum, I'll take a look at the people who hadn't voted for him and I suggset the same thing to other people.

If not, then I will ASAP look at Kataefi. All a scum flip is going to do is delay that.

Ok, here's a few questions I'm going to ask to help start the day.

@rPSI: Apart from TG you were the other lynch candidate for Day 2. A lot of people still said that they'd rather of lynched you than rPSI. Who do YOU think we should look into today?

@SSBF: In post 439 I addressed some of the concerns I had with SD. Anything you'd like to say about that?

@Gheb & Clownbot: Noticed that both you guys have less posts then the game mod. Is this a playstyle approach/choice, or do you just not have much else to say right now?

@Katefi: Can you give us your insights (if any) with regards to the you/gheb/mcfox discussion, as well as our discussion. Feel free to be brief. Any of these worth pursuing today?

@Ryker: You said you had some thoughts you wanted to post before the deadline.

Hmm, that's about all I can think of for now. I'm going to do another read of the gheb/kat/mcfox thing.

Well he would of obtained a result from N1, so it's possible that he inspected someone he found scummy from Day 1 events.

I'd also like to see more about Gheb and Kat. I'm having a tough time getting a read off of them.

I'm not really getting too much from this game. I haven't posted a lot because I don't have much to talk about but so far I've commented everything I find worth commenting.

Not much really. I thought Sworddancer was okay, but I didn't like his persude on McFox at all. I was actually shocked when I found out that replacing wasn't that hard to do (Did that in another game in Mafiascum and it was a disater, don't ask).

Overall, it sounds legimate.

I think this is idea is pretty good, so I went and did a bit of theorising. N.B. everything below is just assumptions, so please point out where you agree/disagree.

For the sake of discussion I thought I'd try and put myself in Sword's position at the end of Day 1 and think "hmm, who should I inspect?" Considering that a cop should be trying to find scum with his results, it is reasonable to assume he would inspect people based on people he thought to be "scummy."

Although I don't think we should waste today tunnelling rPSI, I'm going to do my massive case with quotes thing regardless.

rPSI Was considered suspicious through out Day 1 by a few people. SRB was one of them.

So, in other words, rPSI is my primary suspicion. Dancer may be later depending on how he answers my questions.

Anyone else think that it's quite reasonable to hypothesise that Swords would of inspected rPSI? He also cast a mention to Dancer, as he was annoyed that Dancer wouldn't answer his questions. Here is what he said on day 2, with regards to both Dancer and rPSI.

rPSI or SSBF can go at this point, i don't really care.

Slow game is slow. Where is everyone else @?

Have a look at the page. Xiivi's post in #326 was where he said that SSBF had replaced Dancer. THEN, only 10 posts later (#336) Swords says that either "rPSI or SSBF" can go. So SSBF hadn't even been in the game yet (all he had posted was basically "hi guys, big analysis coming up later") and SRB says he's prepared to lynch him.

So yeah. Everyone please give thoughts on this. I think it's reasonable enough to assume that the cop would try to bread crumb his results like that, especially if he got a scum result.

I know it might look like I'm tunneling rPSI here, but I've not liked his play for a long time now (save late yesterday), there was me ready to drop my case when SRB, who voted for him, found him suspicious and was cop, got NK'd.

I can't see a cop wasting a nights investigating on someone they didn't suspect, and I can't see that same cop openly being suspicious of a person they got a town read on.

The above assumes he investigated rPSI, of course, but I'd bet a tub of my favourite ice cream he did.

What if he just went with someone else and got a townie result?
He could have easily gone after a lurker. I think it's pretty important to look at who he didn't suspect either.

If your suspicious of someone and convinced that they are scum, then why waste your investigation when you're sure of the results, when you could be getting two reads.
