Very true, I shouldn't be sad at the fact Sylux will probly make it in over Weavel. As long as a hunter gets in. Ppl want sylux and they keep saying no to Ridley.I think we'll see something at e3. The more Wii-U hype the better

No, I'm talking about when someone explicitly asked Sakurai about it and his response was (paraphrased from memory): "Oh, that thing? That's a hoax."Here is what Sakurai said verbatim:
“I’m currently concentrating on one title, Kid Icarus. Until this wraps up, Smash Bros. will not progress. Of course, characters have not been decided at all.”
I know you get off on pretending you're insightful rather than a complete tool, but come on man.Still, I am very startled about how much detail was put into those documents. Even if they are fake, I shudder to think how much more elaborate future hoaxes will be when Smash Bros. is actually formally unveiled.

Fake ones. Just type Super Smash Bros Universe into a search engine and you will find them. Not posting them here because I don't want to propagate that rumor anymore than it has been. What documents?

I could see both King K. Rool and Dixie Kong being starters much like how Meta Knight and King Dedede were both starters in Brawl. I think our overall Smash Wii U/3DS roster will consist of 50 (give or take a few) total characters, with 30-35 starters and and 10-25 hidden characters.K. Rool will definitely be revealed before Smash 4 is released, while Dixie Kong will definitely be a hidden character. I can see the same thing for Palutena and Medusa, with Palutena being a starter, while Medusa is a hidden character.
I don't know what to think of the "Magic" series. I assume that the Project M felt it made Lucario "fit" into their game, which was ultimately the best decision in their opinion. I know some of the guys behind it, and I may see them at a tournament I'm attending this Saturday, so I might ask them about their thoughts on it.So what do you think of applying this to the rest of the cast along with the magic series?
There is a chance this leak is real, but not much. If let's say Sonic and K. Rool are revealed, this roster isn't automatically right. However, if King Hippo is, there is a great chance this roster is real or at some point was the "final" roster. Still, if you've been around here enough, you learn not to discount every "revealed roster." One of them eventually will probably be true.I personally think that Smash Bros. Universe roster has the possibility of being the real deal. It was extremely elaborate for a fake. Has there ever been anything done like this for other games (elaborate fakes). Also, why were all the images pertaining to it take down?
Also, when the images pertaining to the roster were leaked it was in late December, which was when Uprising's development was winding down (development for Uprising was completed in mid January).
I think if Smash 4 is unveiled at E3 2012 and there are no characters in the unveil that are not on the leaked roster, then we possibly have the real deal, especially if one of the first newcomers is unveiled is one of the more bizarre choices, like Sabure Prince.
Probably Nintendo (Space) World then, assuming it is in October/November. Remember, the 2nd Brawl trailer was revealed about half a year after Brawl's reveal trailer. I think we may get the reveal trailer there, another trailer sometime in the winter or early spring, and then another trailer at E3 2013 (followed by daily Dojo updates).I think if Smash 4 is not unveiled at E3 2012, Nintendo will announce WHEN they plan to unveil it.
The Wii U controller has basically all the functions of a traditional controller. It is super light and super comfortable as well. The only problem is that we are all so used to the GC controllers after a decade or so. But it really is a non-issue, the wii remote is one thing, the UPad is just a traditional controller with a few extra gadgets. And if you don't like that use the classic controller pro, works just as fine. As a matter of fact it will probably feel exactly the same aside from the sticks.Well, almost all Brawl players including myself use GC controller so thats gonna be a major problem for us.
I looked into "Sakurai's response Smash Bros. Universe" and the only thing that came up was the comment I posted. If you have a link to where he flat out calls it a hoax, I would deeply appreciate it.No, I'm talking about when someone explicitly asked Sakurai about it and his response was (paraphrased from memory): "Oh, that thing? That's a hoax."

There was one sticker from Wario World in Brawl. We didn't get any Wario World content in Brawl, didn't we?
Still doesn't mean it's fake, just means they're idiots.they put it next to Super Smash Bros. 3DS set for July 2012.
I understand the fear about the frequencies getting mixed up at tournies but the classic controller's layout is more like the N64 controller than the gamecube's ever was. The huge A button and kidney buttons are placed fantastically to align naturally with the thumb, but that's not the case any more as the industry has stuck with the diamond lay out. The A, B, and C buttons in the N64 weren't so different and they worked just fine. No, it is an issue for anyone playing at say a live tournament or if you are playing with more than say 8 controllers within a 100 foot range. The Wii's controller frequency easily gets mixed up, and I imagine the Wii U's controller will have similar issues. Plus the Wii U's controller isn't designed for a game like smash. Rather, it's designed for games like Zelda, Mario, and Kirby, and other such platformers, action games, and sports games.
As for the Classic Controllers, those control sticks don't work as well, but meah.
We'll find a way to get the Gamecube controller useable through a cord that fits into the Wii U and allows you to use it as a Wii U controller.
Edit: A controller that is an improved version of the Gamecube controller, whether made by Nintendo or a 3rd party company, would also be a great option. I would prefer one with a bigger start button, a select button (next to the start button), maybe a "Home" button, a bigger control pad, a bigger B button, two Z buttons (that are longer and work like the L and R button), a bit bigger of an X and Y button, and maybe a slightly improved C-stick..
I dono if they will continue to let us use gamecube controllers, They might try to cash in on us with some new controller they make. Seriously if one Wii u controller is so expensive. I expect them to try and bank more.I understand the fear about the frequencies getting mixed up at tournies but the classic controller's layout is more like the N64 controller than the gamecube's ever was. The Wii U controller is designed for what looks like to me, everything but a light gun game. The double sticks, and all the buttons one needs all in the right place. What is smash but a fighting version of a 2D action, platformer?
At home with 1 or 2 Wii pads, and the rest CC Pro(or what ever Nintendo decides to create) will work just fine.
Still though if we are lucky Nintendo will create at a Gamecube version for the Wii U. Much like that white GC controller came out during the Wii's lifetime. Chances are it will be wireless as well.
Bottom line, the issue if the Wii U controller being an odd ball for smash4 is in no way similar to the Wiimote/chuk being awkward for Brawl.
Yeah I'm really curious to see how it's going to turn outI desperately need some screens of Black & White 2 in action. I can't wait for the Japanese launch so some good info can start rollin' in.
