Dajay...at least use Ness for dubs (like NN said). If anything he's amazing in doubles. :/

Yeah, if my partner I team with has an energy projectile then I'll most likely use Ness. Healing definitely makes up for the weaknesses of Ness. And I'll definitely use Ness to team with another Ness main if they want to team with me. Good thing there are a couple other Ness mains in the nearby states: Eagle, Yink, Smash64, Jiffy.

But if I team again with Ook or someone else using a non-projectile character, Olimar or DK is the way I'm going to go.

I got 13th out of 25ish (not sure on exact entry, but I'm sure it was 25) today. Not bad considering I haven't entered anything since Hot Dickings back in January. But I went Olimar for singles, because my Ness failed Ook so badly in doubles. What our opponents decided to do was get me offstage and 2v1 gang-**** Ook while I was recovering. While mine and Ook's sets were close, that strategy was clearly the winning factor for our opponents. I knew I shouldn't have used Ness in doubles, but Ook insisted on it.

So once again I am not a Ness main, but this time I doubt I will ever be one again. Sorry again. :/
WHAT! ;-; Noooo. :(

No bsticking.

Here's my controls that are changed
UNUSED shoulder button changed to jump (in my case it's L)
Unused jump button to shield or grab (I still never use it, but Y)
Tapjump off.

Haha, same controller setup I use =D 'cept I set Y to specials for easier shtls when I switch out to fox. How long did getting the timing down on PKJ take you? I practice it a bit here and there, but I can't seem to do it consistently without b-sticking.

Not long at all really. While waiting for dajay to join my wifi room, I just decided to randomly start practicing it. After a while, I started using it against him, then I'm near perfecting it (only the forward version) after playing chrono. Now for looking at the rest of the pkjump guide.

Edit: next tournament, we're teaming dajay. No questions. I'll show you the madness that I can do with ness in dubs. If I go Kirby, we can do some shenanigans with psimag wind and get Combos based off of jab locks. dthrow>wind>jab/dtilt with Kirby leads to a jab lock, but also fthrow to wind to Kirby nair to jab works.

We'd need some practice first though.

Dajay: If we are ever at the same tourney I'd be happy to team with you, at least for friendlies maybe even the tourney if we don't have partners. When smash64 and I did double Ness in friendlies a while back it was so fun and we did quite well.

Is that movie better than 40 Year Old Virgin or The Hangover? Does one of my favorite comedy actors, Seth Rogen, make an appearance (he usually does in those types of movies)?

I couldn't see any of M2K v Brood cuz my stream exploded. DDD: I'll have to wait for videos I guess. Sounded pretty hype though

I would've been happy for either Brood or DEHF to take Apex honestly. Awesome tournament.

I love upsets, so I kind of hoped Brood would do something special. But either way, good job Larry.

When M2K lost to Brood, I was sick. I'm not gonna lie.
I believe it will be a good thing in the long run though.
<3 M2K regardless. All hetero.

Apex was sooooo much fun. I met and very briefly talked with 1337-0 and Deltacod but didn't get to play either of them =(

I definitely have treats in store for you guys when I get back home though =)

I hate watching M2K, he's boring.
id say i agree

its great that he's a super skilled top player and all, but hes the top player with a top character

id find it much more exciting if his skill really shone through a bad character

if he was the top player and used ganondorf, for exaggeration's sake, i'd really be impressed, because then his skills would be blatantly obvious

I love watching Mew2King play. All top players are entertaining to watch.

Apex was so much fun to watch. I used to love watching livestreams. Then things died off and I kinda stopped watching videos and streams. I decided to watch Apex, and fun was had. Found myself cheering for players through my monitor, good thing I was home alone most of the weekend.

The M2K vs. Brood matches were so much fun to watch, really intense. It's amazing what both of them can do with their characters.

I should have gone, we need more Ness representation. :(

I so totally agree. That was a good tourney man.
