As far as I'm concerned the decision is already made. I will move it to the 17th if the venue is cool with it (still waiting on a response email) and nobody in this thread takes issue.

Can you not get a refund on the bus ticket you bought since it isn't that date yet? Or even just ask to have to date for the tickets moved? That's some bad transportation service.

This is Jesse from AL. Glad to see the hype building for your event Steve. If it looks like enough people are coming and you want to do a 2-day event, we can make that work. I'll go ahead and reserve the center court for two days just in case. I can supply around 5 CRTs and a couple wiis so go ahead and add that to the list. If you guys have any questions for me, feel free to post them up. I will keep an eye on the thread.

Edit: Also, let me add some clarification:

Preregistration will not be forcibly refunded. If we don't hit the 50 and you still want to come, I can absolutely hang on to your cash until the tournament day just to make things easier. However, this will be entirely up to you.

Should we fall short of the goal, I will ask each person individually what they'd like me to do with their registration. If I don't get a definite ok to hang on to it by the end of June 15th, I'll send it back right away. Again, I have no desire to keep any of it for any reason other than to make this tournament as good as it can be.
