Falco's chaingrab. It's still amazing, but not an insta-win. There are very few characters it auto-kills, and most of them were terrible characters anyway.
It's not the fact that Falco gets autokills with it (which is only on a few amount of character, I agree with that), but the chaingrab essentially gives Falco a 35-50% headstart on every stock. That's crazy.

Only if you get grabbed. He has some of the best grab setups but you should be fairly cautious not to approach him blindly. He shouldn't get 35% or so on every start, mainly because you shouldn't get grabbed at 0% very often.

His grab range isn't Dedede's so its much easier to avoid being grabbed.

Peach's float.
Are you kidding? That's a huge part of Peach's air game! It also allows her to have one of the best horizontal recoveries in the game and an extremely good edgeguarder!

Most overrated: Falcon Punch. Epic, but sucks.

Punch isnt overrated. It's just worshipped because CF is awesome. Peach's float is too good btw.
I say.... the FLUDD is overrated.

Oddly enough, I'd say that the Ice Climbers 0-death chaingrab is overrated.

Yes, it's an excellent strategy. Yes, it's an instant death if done perfectly.
But it's not the be-all, end-all of moves: the Ice Climbers have a godawful grab range to make the chain tough to start, and aerial fighters or longer-ranged brawlers ludicrously difficult to get with it.

It's overrated because it's not the apocalypse that will end all battles. It's good, just not that good.

The flaw in your argument is that while it may not be the be-all, it certainly is the end-all. How can a guaranteed stock be overrated? Sure it's hard to get the grab in (or is it...?), but the actual, successful grab is nowhere near overrated.

MK's ftilt is somewhat overrated IMO. seriously, it doesn't have the amazing range its pretended to have (most roundhouse kicks, even ocasionally marios out range it). dtilt is almost always a better option IYO

Well you are right, since it's mostly done with falco users. For some reason fox cant do it, I managed to do it with fox by doing the foward throw, but not down.

Ike's forward smash. Yeah, incredible damage and knockback... did anyone forget about extreme predictability and ability to shield or dodge? Or jab in mid-excecution?

Snakes U-tilt.

Really, guys, It doesn't have that much range. It's a good killing move, but F-tilt is better.

I agree with Inui about Shuttle Loop, but it's still a killer near the edge of the stage.
I'd have to say the most overrated move in the game is Marth's FSmash. It's still amazing, but I don't tremble in fear at it.
Another overrated move would have to be Wolf's FSmash. I use him as a secondary, and whenever an opponent gets a certain distance away, they always expect an FSmash,

I survived Forte's MK's shuttle loop yesterday at over 100% consistently even when I was off the stage. It's called good DI. Grenades negated tornado.
It's called Snake being the third heaviest character in the game.
But yeah, the tornado is severely overrated.

That's not the most overrated move at all. It has priority and can deal massive damage easily. Not only that but it can be used for recovery and damage simultaneously in tight spots. I think the most overrated move would have to be falco's lasers. They're incredibly powerful, but if you're on the ground, you can pretty much juts hit R every time they fire one. The laser is a bit too overrated I guess.

Yeah, well, it's pretty debatable. Now that I think of it, his lasers are extremely useful in most matchups, but I still kind of feel like they're not all that great like people think they are. They definitely shouldn't be what gets falco into top tier if that's it. My favorite falco move is Bair. <3

no one overrates PK thunder.

The fact that people gush about G&W's "broken" b-air prove how overrated it is, as in reality anyone that can DI properly can punish, and using it leads to a long commitment. It's a good move, but nowhere near as good as peopel think it is.
