On the topic of Isabelle, does it weird anyone else out how people at Nintendo refer to her as if she's a real person who interacts with them? Iwata, Reggie, and now Sakurai have done it in the past year and it weirds me the hell out every time it happens. She's still adorable as all get out but people interact with her like she's goddamn HAL from 2001: A Space Odyssey for some reason.

It is weird, but I suppose I don't find it to strange since my girlfriend honestly interacts/talks about all her AC villagers as real people... The addiction is strong with that one, but hell I slip into doing it myself too.

Kinda hard to avoid it when you're into the games enough Imo, so maybe they are huge fans.

Come to think of it, my girlfriend does this too... I guess it just seems odd because all of them are grown men who are big and widely respected names in the gaming industry.

I do love the idea of the three of them getting together for an island run. Though it'd explain some of the questionable decisions they've ever made. Too busy in AC to worry 'bout life.

Well, Sakurai showed a new design of the smash ball not long ago on the site

But doesn't the Smashball change colors as it moves? It looked pretty much the same to me.

I was confused when I first saw the picture since I thought Isabelle was just a background item, but seeing she's an AT is cool (and means I got something I requested two days in a row). Not that Monday will be too interesting with the Direct funneling all the hype away, but I could still see a final smash or item redesign as the next pic.

I'm calling it. Veteran on Monday, new character on Tuesday, and then 10 minutes of menus, trophies and Miiverse integration with stickers for the Direct, and the big reveal of the crate item in action.

I don't think so. I called a regular, nothing new picture before Rosalina talking about the Nintendo Direct, and that's exactly what we got. I'm expecting the same thing this time.
