Isabelle looks to be an Assist Trophy, obvouisly, and seems like she drops the fruit from Animal Crossing to heal the player who summoned her. Nice.

Also the eternal clock will play a part in the Animal Crossing stages again obviously.

I like this concept of an Animal Crossing Assist much better than that "Tom Nook throws bells everywhere" thing. You know, healing players fits the series much better than causing damage.

I don't think Tom Nook would be a clone. Honestly I don't know how he would be viable as a fighter, considering all he does really is just stand, laugh on occasion and put items inside his nonexistent pockets/take items out. The only reason I even believe he has a chance is because of the implications the trailer made and the fact that he has not been shown in any of the screenshots yet. That gesture he makes towards the invitation should not be ignored. He is either a fighter or at least an Assist Trophy, I am willing to bet.

If that's the case, I hope it means that Peach gets a new Final Smash. Sakurai said Peach's moves were going to be refreshed. The ribbon and the rainbow are not enough. I really wish she could have gotten rid of Toad already.
