Lolno OS, you ninja'd me, but I'm just annoyed that the lack of a true lynchwagon now spoils the day. I've thought through all the scenarios and though it's possible to be a crazy scum gambit it would net us scum and I'd be happy anyway.

Same deal as last weekend. I worked all day today and will work all day Saturday and Sunday as well. However, I have managed to catch up on the topic before slinking off to bed, so here are some things I'd like to share.

1. I'm not sure how I feel about Tery's claim. We have very good reason to think he's town based on the fact that it would be very tempting for town to utilize the bomb ability to try to catch scum on the wagon. Unfortunately, Tery's claim came before a wagon on him had even formed, so it makes it difficult to know who exactly to target. It's also possible that Tery could be scum using the claim as a ploy to avoid a lynch, if only for the fact that OS is in the game. I wouldn't put it past OS (town or scum) to set up a Tery lynch-bomb for no other purpose than to gauge people's reactions. That'd be a pretty ballsy scum move though.

Tery bomb-target: Either an inactive, or, if not possible, Boat. That would clear up all the BOAT OR TERY nonsense for us, and give us a lot of insight into toDay's and yesterDay's play.

2. FF claiming Bulletproof or some variation thereof does NOT prove 100% that he's town. Again, a ballsy scum-team could send in a No Kill order to the mod to have FF set himself as obvi-town. Am I saying I think that's what happened? No. But I want everyone to be aware of the possibilities.

3. I do not like this early claiming stuff. I get OS's argument that people could just lie to screw with mafia, but at the same time, lying makes it difficult not to trap yourself later in the game. Eventually a lying townie has to own up to a lie, and oftentimes that paints a target on their backs for lynches.

Here's one last note, and another reason I don't like people claiming early:

Mafia have a role-cop on their side

I will not explain how I know this, so you can choose whether or not you want to believe me.

If we keep encouraging people to claim, we're making it much easier for scum to figure out which players have PRs that are dangerous and which do not. Maybe the damage is already done, but please, no more early claims.

I'm a bit surprised that Raziek isn't coming under more scrutiny. His whole 'case' on Boat started with an OMGUS vote. I wholeheartedly disagree with him "helping" get the Circus wagon off the ground, all he did was put his vote on him and just spout off one-liners that don't really do anything to push the wagon (Example 1, Example 2). The reason I bring this up is because Raziek continues to question people's scum reads on him and tries to refute them with this reasoning.

His later case on Boat doesn't sit well with me at all. Like, it's good and all to review a flipped scums posts for connections, but making a case solely on connections is just reaching because trying to interpret Circus' intent behind his posts is essentially wifom. Where has Boat actually been scummy? 853 is also reaching for a connection between Circus and Boat, Circus had been defending Boat/pushing for his replacement, not trying to draw him as scum.

865 continues the trend of "I'm obvtown because I pushed Circus' lynch yesterDay." How is a vote on you anti-town at all? OS' vote on you at the start of D2 got us reactions we probably wouldn't had seen otherwise.

879 is completely ********. Get off your high throne, you are not as townie as you think you are, regardless of what others say.

So where do I stand toDay? I would prefer a Raziek lynch over Boat. tl;dr version, Raziek has been pushing Boat solely on connections with Circus and is constantly referring to the Circus wagon as proof that everyone should have a town read on him.

Xatres' last post just reeks of reaching arguments and WIFOM (OS setting up Tery as a bomb to get reactions?). He states he doesn't like people claiming early, but goes on to claim that he knows theres a mafia role cop and won't tell us why he knows this. All this does is confuse town even more.

I'm willing to trust Tery's claim because I don't believe he is that ballsy as a player to do that as scum. I don't see a reason to lynch him toDay.

Read some little more, as well as a quick-skimming through D2's start. Everyone has OS as town after Circus' lynch in their lists. Not gonna do a 180° twist on that read because I still haven't read the details of what happened, but while on D1 yet I found this:

He's obvious town, unvote now, there are much better places to place our attention and I have no desire to see him picked as a default lynch toDay.

Quit stalling and pay attention, people have already unvoted me. I don't need you to convince people I'm town, I could convince everyone I'm scum and still not get lynched. Start posting actual content, starting with your thoughts on Terywj and Red Ryu.

Also, no OS. We are not doing bioware again. You can't pull that off with this playerlist, if enough people think you're scum YOU WILL DIE or at least be forced to claim. Rather then pulling these overwrought complex plans that fall apart under their own weight, go back to basics with your game.

This interaction makes me question my read on OS, plus what I said before by seeing everyone considering OS town:

The first post is "weird" per se, since it's sort of a fake bus, and I've always find it scummy that a player defends so strongly his main attacker (because OS was calling AB scum at this point), but I'm most concerned about AB's second post. What's the goal of saying that on a player on which you allegedly have a town read? I see that post just directed towards creating confusion, nothing more.

Anyone null and lower is acceptable to die for me, Raziek may not fall in line with a Circus connection vote wise, I do not believe he planned that far ahead to bus him to his death. However it being an accident or even him being on it, isn't out of the question. I doubt it right now, but if more would suggest this, then I would be fine with his death more than Boat's.
