You know whats funny about this whole thing is. I don't even have region pride for MD/VA

I probably don't like 60% of the smashers that live here, however, I dislike liars more than MD/VA smashers.

and for you guys to come and here and even remotely imply that PA is better then MD/VA...that makes me LOL...heartily.

Up until I heard of Vex (which was only like a little bit before Pound 4) I thought PA Smash scene was a joke like RI smash scene.

Now I'm not tryna start beef with anyone because I generally like the people I have met from PA, however, I don't see you guys going to any nationals and placing top 5...hell, I barely see that possible for a good regional where MD/VA NY and NJ all Show up.

I don't recall MD/VA EVER winning a PA tournament, I could be wrong though.

I let logic win a harrisburg tourney last weekend. Sowwy ;3. turns out I needed more than one win in a set of 5 to send him to losers finals xD

Take...uh...that one where M2K/Omni won teams and me and Atomsk got 2nd, and 1st/2nd/3rd in singles was M2K/Atomsk/ADHD for example.

Pound 4 was straight NY/NJ domination.

I do have to say though, MD/VA we need to get off of our high horses. WE aren't doing good OOS as of now(except for a slight few). We need to be humble, step our game up, and do better.

I mean seriously, we are arguing with PA about who the better region is, PA(No offense, you guys are mad cool)


So here's what I'm thinking; right now, MD/Va and PA aren't that great of regions when it comes to placing out of state. So instead of arguing who the best of the worst is, why don't we all get better and start placing better OOS. Our placings will prove who's better, not petty arguing.

our best players cant crack top 16 at an MLG. seriously, if no one in our region can get 1st anywhere else, then we suck arse

i blame the game being awful and all/most of the good players quitting / not caring

the only players left really are the ones who love the community more than winning. i mean really, the best MK in our reigon doesnt give a shuckyduckyquackquack about this game, he just wants to go to IHOP and hang out with smashers.

I play to win, but I wouldn't be playing at all if I didn't have a ****load of fun while playing. And this community is quite possibly the best community I've ever been apart of, irl and online. Almost everyone I've met is mad cool IRL with a few exceptions, even if they act like *******es online sometimes.


Smash is one of the reasons I started hanging out with one of my best friends(Colaya on the boards if you know him), and the entire reason I met another great friend(Hungrybox)
