Hrnut gayness as far as not approaching doesn't win in MK dittos at the highest level I guarantee it. Mindgames > Gayness because you can always take advantage of human imperfection. If your opponent doesn't properly anticipate what you're going to do they can't just wait and intercept it.....

How is pirate ship not bad?
All pirate ship produces is top platform camping, water camping, bombs randomly exploding, wind changes, random areas where you can die under the ship(not sure exactly what they are) and the little flingy thing.
Its not a good stage at all and its not legal anywhere else it would be really dumb if we kept it. Pirate ship is worse than Luigis mansion/Norfair IMO possibly PS2.

Pirate ship is okay, but I do think the hazards in the stage are completely random. Unlike RC where the stage is in a constant scroll, and nothing random happens. The Bombs on Pirate Ship can launch at any given time, so can the little fling. Even when the Ship lands along the rocks is completely random. This is why RC > Pirate ship IMO.
The list brik brought up last was pretty decent, and Japes should be optional so we can see how it runs in tourneys. I mean we've done it for Pirate Ship/Norfair to finally come to a decision that they're not good CP stages. So we learn as we allow things.

pirate ship sux hrnut. the spring board is too ******** and no the bombs arent EASILY avoidable (just avoidable). and when u do get hit it hurts like hell and kills like a gimp. gay **** happens like crazy on that stage. a lot of gayness and campiness when u hit the rock too. the storm part is passable but still gay. oh and the water is gay. gay, gay, gay, gay; i can only say gay. its just gay

Japes and RC are extremely common CPs vs Snake.
Some D3s also say that RC is bad for him. Personally I disagree, but w/e.

Its not that bad, you can learn it instead of just thinking its bad nothing is overly random about the stage, everything comes with a fair warning
bombs-have a trail, easy to track, all you have to do to avoid them is double jump
flingy thing- when it comes up move away from it or shield
water- there is water on delphino, you can hit people who are in water without going in it
wind-you see the tornado in the background, it lifts the ship for about 20 seconds and lands
front of the ship-you gotta be ******** to get hit by that...just don't swim towards it...
its not bad at all, no one wants to learn it,

No Its just a really terrible stage which is the reason we're the ONLY region with the stage on. There is alot wrong with the stage compared to other stages.
It is in no way better than Luigi's mansion(Nothing random happens on this stage just promotes excessive camping), Norfair(Nothing really random on this stage, promotes camping once again and the obstacles are much easier to avoid then the ones on pirate ship) PS2(dumb stage).
It just promotes camping, is random, the bombs are not "easily" avoidable they are avoidable but definitley not easily. Even when Kei and I both were playing there in singles we Both got hit by the bombs and when the bombs do hit they rack up soo much damage/kill you its dumb. I got hit for like 80% then when he got hit he died. There are just so many bad aspects of the stage that adds up.
All that comes from it is camping and relying on a stage/banning a stage when the situation would be entirely different OOS.

lol, do you ever wonder why i don't ever get gayed by any stage obstacles when i take you there?
Cuz i learned the stage, i suggest everyone do the same, its not hard at all, but hey i'm not gonna argue...i know when im there i don't get hit by anything, the bombs are pretty easy to avoid but i guess that cuz i wear glasses i can actually see them flying toward the stage >_>
but everyone is entitled to their own opinions, we should just have a poll about what stages to allow and what not, i'd like for there to be at least something else in this region, i've been to OoS tourneys where Pictochat was legal and it wasn't bad at all like i thought it'd be, its w/e though...people don't wanna learn a stage so they complain about it, i don't wanna learn delphino or RC but i know that i'll have to...yeah...

Ive played on pirate ship alot I dont get what there is to learn lol. Im not blind I can see the bombs its just hard to avoid when you're focusing on not getting hit by your opponent/chasing them as well.

Yea i said it was cool.... but fearless you owe me $1 from our MM at gigs! If i remember right i won the first match and then they said we had to go and u left without paying LOL. Im just messn, but we gotta finish the set!
~On a side note we should keep Pirate SHIP! It makes florida unique! If no pirate ship then Japes is a must!

...........................................................................Pirate Ship.....................Legal, Vericz, make it happen, by the way tripping is dumb, i tripped into walk off chaingrabs before doesn't mean we should ban the stage that it happened on, its a part of brawl...deal with it....bombs are easy to avoid...i don't get hit by them or the person that i'm fighting when it happens, i'm usually doing the hitting or just avoiding it altogether.......yep....mmmhhhmm....

I still think Pirate ship is a terrible stage lol and I still don't see any reason to have it's not nationally used only hurts us. I dont mind Japes much because the klaptrap isnt random and is alot more easily avoidable its pretty legit so I don't care if its legal or not. I know a good portion of oos tourneys has it legal.

I don't see how japes is good for peach... It's hard to kill on japes, and Peach already has enough trouble killing. I guess maybe she can camp the platforms pretty effectively, but so can anyone else with a projectile. The problem with japes is if you have a spamable projectile, you can stand on the platforms on the side, and in order to get to you... People have two options, they can jump towards you, or they can grab the edge and try doing something off the edge. Both are easy to see coming and puts the person approaching in an even more disadvantageous position than when you approach someone on a flat stage. Approaching is already disadvantageous enough as it is, no sense in making it even harder.

ahh, the peach player didn't cover the best of options. I don't know, though. I'm gonna probably try to get some friendlies on this map to see how it goes. The platforms just seem (to me) to be a great advantage for peach. I have not tested, but good vid for observation.

I hate japes. People camp the right, I get near them, they jump in the water and retreat to the left. That gets so annoying. As for pirate ship, those bombs are easily avoidable if there aren't multiple people fighting, I've thrown people into those bombs before, sometimes they just do damage and don't send you anywhere, sometimes they do damage with insane knockback it's so random and makes no sense sometimes.
Why do I need 2000$ when you have about a 0% change of beating me?
