Yeah, I'm looking at coming to this, but I definitely don't want to drive alone.

So either, I need a ride that I can help with gas, OR somebody give me gas money, and I'll drive. either way...

Housing is available at the venue. Both friday & saturday night if needed. Depending on when I work Memorial day, I might could house some people Sunday night as well. If anybody comes on Friday, please make it after 6:00pm as that's when the office closes.

Reminder: You will need access to get in. Everybody make sure that they have my phone number programed in your phone and/or written down with your directions. Otherwise you may have to wait until someone else arrives/opens the door. My number is (850) 287-4027.

Also, if we run out of parking in the front I can open the gate to reveal more spaces along the side so call me for that as well if you need to. Most likely I'll have anyone who spends the night park inside the gate.

im glad people are finally leaving melee behind....we were all good at it and all tech. and it was mad funz...

but its 2008 man the era of brawl is upon us, put melee on your shelves next to SSB64 and admire it....

i play melee alot more than brawl still and just for fun since its so much more entertaining

yea brawl will be more popular. i still think an orlando area melee tournament would have more than 30 people which is more than reasonable...but brawl has 100 so theres no comparison

But honestly it doesn't make any sense. Most competitive smashers at this point have admitted to liking melee more than brawl. So why bother with Brawl?

Just because everyone else is doing it? Way to be a tool
Because you have a chance at winning? Way to be a scrub
Because you have a shot at the money? There are much better ways to make money

So yeah, I'm looking into going to this...thing is, I don't want to pay $3.50+ to drive to Tampa for a tournament. So I'm looking for people who want to carpool. Either you drive and I chip in, or I drive and you pay...one of the two. Frames wants to come with me, so there's 2 people out of probably 5 that can fit in a car. who else is interested in the UCF area?
