Probably, a lot of people wanted male and female versions of the Quarians. People are speculating that Phoenix characters are either Protheans or ex-cerberus operatives.

I admittedly don't know if it's legit, but it'd be awesome if it was. And playing as ex-Cerberus would be awesome, since while Protheans are cool, they don't really make sense. Some people also think the Quarian bit could be a mistake and actually be another race.

Without question though, I'd be stoked to play as a Vorcha. Just hearing "KIIIILLL YOUUU!!!", or "GRAAAH! DEAD!!" would be hilarious. Though, I remember how Mark Meer said the one thing he hated most was doing the Vorcha voices because it really hurt his vocal chords.

It's also worth noting, some people have gotten the Indra in Premium Spectre and Victory Packs, leading me to suspect the Indra's going to be available for consoles in MP, and the Raider and Argus (as well as the Valkryie) coming to MP in those as well.

Speaking of multiplayer though, these balance changes were released half an hour ago, and it's a weird bunch of changes this time:

I'm guessing sync kills are insta kills? Why would they increase the chances of the Atlas doing that?! I guess they like making insta kills even more OP. Would also be nice if they gave out the commedation packs for the weekend's operation.

That sounds horrible. Even if I play smart, there's always the chance my team lets a Phantom flank or take my behind. And it's usually a OHKO, xD

Do you guys know how I can upgrade the Claymore?
Do you mean how to get more of them? Just keep buying Spectre/Premium Spectre packs. If you want to put mods on the weapon just go over the weapon and press X (unless you're playing PS3 I think that would be the square button, idk about PC).

Anyway, so I've been trying gold runs against cerberus on Firebase Dagger and it just isn't working. Even when I use Stasis Bubble against Phantoms it only works half the time for some reason. Is Submission Net better against Phantoms or is there some way to make Stasis Bubble work against Phantoms every time?

I think if you use Stasis on a Phantom too much they resist it. It might be a glitch but I've noticed it has more chance of not working if you use it repeatedly on one Phantom, leading me to believe it might also be them resisting it like Sabotage on Geth.

^ This is exactly the case actually. Same goes for the Net I believe although that barely works on them anyway. you can only Stasis a phantom 2 times before they just start falling out of it immediately and at some point they run through it.

Edit: Also, does anyone know how to setup biotic explosions and tech bursts? I know the general idea of having 2 biotic powers or tech powers setup to create this but I think its supposed to be specific powers that cause this. I'm going to try and make a build to takes advantage of it so that I can handle gold better (and phantoms).

First time going to wave 10 on Gold, but it was the Hack mission, so everyone died staying in one place, lol. Banshee/Brute all on us.

How do I do this? The only way I can think of doing it is to run around and fill the bar little by little.

Did you try your other disc, out of curiosity? I sometimes forget that this game has two discs. ;)

Speaking of errors. Last time I played Mass Effect 3 in single player it froze
After the Cerberus attack on the Citadel at the part where Kai Leng is talking to TIM, and I had to manually shut off my PS3 because the whole system was unresponsive. I have NO idea what caused that and it didn't happen before since well, I've already beaten the game.

So I've been using the Geth Engineer for a while and I'm not sure if Hunter Mode is worth it (at least not on the engineer). My geth has 350 health and 1050 shields (with hunter mode that becomes 525 shields). I'm not sure if I should use a reset powers and max out everything except hunter mode. Even on silver, I have to be incredibly cautious because any small amount of damage pretty much takes down my shields. Has anyone else used the Geth Engineer? I'd be interested to know what kinds of builds you guys use.

Most people I know that use Geth Engineer set their Turrets to heal as much shields as possible.

Hunter mode is hit or miss. You can take it, and be a scout, or skip it was entirely.

For the turret, I went heal, heal, flamethrower. This way, you still have a little buddy that can attack. Does decent damage too.

Overload is why I like having Hunter Mode. But you can do what works best for you. Just always take neural shock.

Awesome news. The game is epic. Just do yourself a favour. Under NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you pick Soldier for your single player run through. It's so...blah of a class. I'd recommend one of Vanguard, Adept, or Infiltrator.

I already played through SP when I red boxed it. I'm honestly only getting it for the MP at this point. I say 30 dollars for the MP...that I plan to put in quite a bit of time into would be a good investment.

So Gold is a joke now. Really. You want the easiest 60,000 credits for an instant Spectre Pack?

Step 1) Quarian Infiltrator, Geth Engineer, Geth Infiltrator, Salarian Engineer.

Step 2) Choose Firebase White with Geth.

Step 3) Stay in the lower area (Specifically, the one leading down from the highest plane on the map) with one dude waiting outside behind the barricades to prevent anyone from spawning behind you.

Step 4) ???

Step 5) PROFIT!

To be honest, you could do the same set-up with any combination of classes/races.

You keep doing what you were doing to survive- never go RIGHT for the extraction zone, as it limits you to one spot and given you're going to have a whole slew of heavy units coming down on you, that means you're gonna have a bad time. Basically, keep holding your position until... like, twenty or fifteen seconds are left of the extraction time. In which case, cut a swathe or retreat and go around the incoming wave/units and you'll usually make it with a couple of seconds left, ten at most.

Yeah, that's about right. Though most of the time when my group does it, it's 30-35 seconds.

I'll be honest Gold is a little easier to handle now for some odd reason. Not just do the the Firebase camping but in general once weapons start getting to 8-9-10 then the higher tier MP character(any infiltrator for example) can do Gold waves with relative ease. Even if the **** hits the fan you can solo gold waves if you are a good enough shot.
