Yeah only took like 30 minutes for me.Are the DL speeds on the PS3/PSN really that slow? It only took me about 10 min to download the 1.78 GB file.
No wonder you always get host.I have a damn good connection (30mbps/faster than 90% of Canada) so that's why it only took me 10 minutes.![]()
It doesn't help me in MW3 tho.No wonder you always get host.
When can you play on Friday? My connection is pretty good too, lol. Around the % of F8AL's, but in the USA.
No, some people on Gamefaqs got their download in 10-30 minutes. My apartment internet runs at about 1.5 mbpsAre the DL speeds on the PS3/PSN really that slow? It only took me about 10 min to download the 1.78 GB file.
-90 minutes later-My internet is crappier...350 minutes remaining.
If you didn't do a heavy melee, how did you complete the first level of the demo, seeing as though you need to do a heavy melee to remove that husk from the door?Just played through it. I like it, but it felt...different somehow. I didn't do a single Omni Blade attack because I realized I have no idea how you're supposed to do it. Also after picking Sentinel, I got bummed out in the second mission when I realized I was using default armour and stuff and so I didn't have the whole "recharge time cut to 40%" thing from Mass Effect 2, so I couldn't just keep spamming Warp and Throw every 2 seconds while recharging my Tech Armor every 5.
It's weird the part they leave out in the second mission though.
Uh....since I was Sentinel, I used Throw to get it out of there...If you didn't do a heavy melee, how did you complete the first level of the demo, seeing as though you need to do a heavy melee to remove that husk from the door?
No 360 version??? D:Just played the demo.
Pretty nice, I guess. Plays more or less like ME2 combat-wise.
The only BIG problem I have is the dodge roll mechanics. Seriously, I did a lot of unintentional dodge rolls when wanting to run.
Was on PC, btw.
lol it's fun to charge it up and destroy enemies in your way with that.Just played through it. I like it, but it felt...different somehow. I didn't do a single Omni Blade attack because I realized I have no idea how you're supposed to do it. Can you sprint forever in ME3?not gonna lie, shepard runs really weird in ME3 but other than that, it looks great and the level up system is improved, still not ME1 status though
the jump over stuff thing is a little weird, i kept jumping over stuff when i wanted to run into cover, it still feels a little clunky, they still have a week to fix that
I would like an answer to this question as well.on xbox it's similar to ME2, just upgraded
what's up with bypassing? did they remove it just for the demo or is that what's it going to be
I just normally/regularly melee'd the husk.If you didn't do a heavy melee, how did you complete the first level of the demo, seeing as though you need to do a heavy melee to remove that husk from the door?
No, but only because in my case I'd seen the leaked demo bit with it happening like 5 times.Am I the only one who didn't give a crap aboutthat kid dying?
Oh yeah, it was amazing, for sure. And well, I cared about it the first 2 times I saw it, does that count?I cared about it because the music was amazing.
Nope, I noticed that too. I remember I ended up dying against the Atlas because I was trying to roll but ended up covering next to the Atlus. So I'm not the only one ho feels weird about the 'I'm-dodging-but-I-want-to-run/cover' thing.
I am. I pre-ordered mine from Amazon and I'm getting release date delivery.( •_•)
So, what's up boys. How many of y'all are gettin'
( •_•)>⌐■-■

The Collectors Edition?
(insert The Who here)
The music from the demo was great. Clint Mansell for Jack Wall was lossless trade.I cared about it because the music was amazing.
Yeah...that giant cooldown from Tech Armor is not cool.Anyone else have a ball with the 20 second cooldowns?![]()
Nah, that part was very predictable.Am I the only one who didn't give a crap aboutthat kid dying?
The cooldown on part 2 is bad enough for the other classes but Sentinals get an additional 80% which is like....wtf. Tech Armor is good, very good. but it's not THAT goodYeah...that giant cooldown from Tech Armor is not cool.
I didn't really notice any, really. What I DID notice though, was during the opening part, the game re-setting how much ammo you had for certain parts. I noticed when I had 240 shots in my AR, and then when that last sequence of the first part started, I somehow only had 105.Is the PS3 version the only one to suffer from frame rate issues in the first part of the demo?
The only volume I noticed to be low was the voices for some reason.I guess. The PC version was smooth. There was an audio issue, though. The volume of the game was low by default for some reason.
