As a Shepard that makes a priority of seeking out retribution and dishing out justice, I quite enjoyed the flamethrower :b:

You'll get a code for the Cerberus Network and when you connect to it in the main menu of the game there will be a bunch of free DLC. Apart from Zaeed it's all just little stuff.

Then after that you can buy actual DLC, like Kasumi who is 560MS points and all the story DLC and weapon packs.

You will get new weapons and stuff in the DLC, like in Zaeed's I think you get a flamethrower, and Kasumi's you get a really good SMG.
How about my other questions? D:

Like raising the level cap or introducing new powers? No, but Lair of the Shadow Broker gives you the option of relocating you squadmates powers, and things like showing you where resource rich planets are.

Also it gives you a great story.

Alright, thanks for the help Pluvia!

I'm going to try and buy a new copy of ME2 this weekend, I love BioWare and they're a Canadian game developer! :)

Another question: Is it the same thing like in ME1 where even if you don't use certain squad mates, they still get the points?

And if you play another play through, do you get to keep everything?

Yeah, to the best of my knowledge, even if you don't use someone they still get the points. Though they're not auto-allocated and that, unless you set them to be.

Oh yeah, my opinion on being a Vanguard has changed! I like to use my biotic powers and shoot enemies during a gun fight, it makes the game more interesting IMO. :)

And thanks for the help, LivewiresXe!

Just thought you guys might want to know, but...Femshep trailer for ME3's out. As usual, I guess potential small spoilers?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3pShKKOV_gA

I noticed Jacob, Miranda, Kaiden, Ashley, and I believe I saw Samara in there somewhere too. Plus, some people say Udina was in there. Not even sure this needs spoiler tags, but hey.

Nice trailer, and that reminds me, I wonder if siding with
Morinth
has any potential consequences going further.
She's
not exactly someone I'd trust.

Legion was there too.

Edit:

Also, Miranda concept art:

There's no spoilers there it's just concept art. So glad they never made her blonde like they were gonna do.

So if you live in the UK you can play this game on Facebook which will win you a code for the demo that you can download straight away.

Too bad the game is set up in such a way that you only have a 1 in 24 chance of getting the answer right, and it's random, and you only get 3 goes before you have to wait 2 more hours.

Frankly a lot of them don't look alien enough I think. As long as they have the glowing eyes we know Tali has though.

Anyway there are more artwork pictures out there, two showing TIM, but they were a bit too spoilery so I'll let you lot find them yourself.

Waiting for you to slip up.
Ugh. I was worried about making
Quarians look nothing more than Space Elves but of course I had to be wrong about that. It wouldn't hurt to make deviate a little from the humanoid faces you normally see and go for something along the lines of Elcor Tier. In terms of abnormality, anyway.

They'd never do that seeing as though Tali has a massive fanbase for some reason.

:phone:

Edit:

****ING YES I GOT AN EARLY ACCESS DEMO CODE!!!!

Yeah I never cared much for Tali either. And congrats on getting the demo, does that include multiplayer?

I dunno, it's the same demo so I don't see why not.

I also unlocked a Normandy prop, which I feel bad about downloading as I'm already going to get one of those with the CE, so I guess I'll give my CE one away when I get it.

I should do that FB thing to get those free avatar awards. And I read a thread on NeoGAF on how to get a demo code early. (Expertzone / sharing accounts.)

I'll wait tho.

EDIT: Damnit, I missed Mission 1 on the ME3 FB app thingy, no avatar prop for me. =(

How do you get early access? And uh...is it just 360 only or can PS3 users get it?

Also, so THAT'S what Quarians look like under those masks. Hmm...oddly enough, I kind of guessed it would be something like that.

Win a code from a contest or off Twitter. Or look into what I posted.

360 only atm.

Actually we don't know what the Quarian's look like, there was no canon look there.

Edit:

Wow, I won another code, gave it to my friend, will post any more I get up here from now on. Can only get 9 tries every 2 hours though, and it's luck.

^ I will never look at Quarians the same ever again.

My Shep did Tali too. Oh well.
Mine did too. The picture won't change nothing. :glare:

I just completed Garrus' loyalty mission and isn't Harkin that drunk guy in Cora's Den from ME1? I also saved that guy who he wanted to assassinate.

So I completed the demo. Your shields regenerate but your health doesn't, and I was playing it on Hardcore (there's no Veteran, instead Normal is the new Veteran as there's a dificulty easier than easy) and it was pretty hard I have to admit. The enemies are definately smarter, they'll flush you out of cover with grenades and by flanking. I was playing as an Engineer, my canon class.

Edit:

Also the first half of the demo is all story, it must be like 70 or 80% cutscenes, but the awesome music at the end makes up for it.

Edit Edit:

So I've played as an Engineer and a Vanguard. Engineer is even better now, because the insanely powerful turrets that enemy engineers deploy can be hacked instantly and will be turned against them (Infiltrator also gets this power) and now the Engineer can throw his own small sentry which is oddly quite powerful. And he still keeps his Combat Drone, so that's 2 things you can summon to the field to fight along side him.

Though I never thought it possible, Vanguard is now even worse, and could possibly be worse than the Adept now considering both their buffs in ME3. Vanguard keeps his Charge, which seems to be slightly better but still completely useless, and gets a new power, Nova, which makes the Vanguard punch the ground and produces a biotic shockwave. Now that sounds good but it's tied to how much barrier you have, so if you've got almost nothing the Nova blast is small, and given the fact that your health doesn't regenerate anymore it means charging in is even more stupid. Plus Nova removes your barrier lol.

To get your health back you need to use a medi-pack, but if you're full of medi-packs and you find some you get EXP instead of credits now, so it rewards you more for not taking damage.

Also you can revive your squad by going over to them and pressing A and waiting a few seconds, so if they drop close to you you don't need to waste a medi-pack.

The begining, (Arrival DLC spoilers)
you're there for your trial on Earth
, that's why the first half is mostly dialogue.

Uh...you know Biotic Charge actually refills your shields and gives you a 30% boost or something, right? And I wouldn't really call something that lets you dart in and out of danger to get some hit and run style tactics useless. It's no Sentinel Tech Armor, but it's still good. Reminds me, how does the new Sentinel compare to the ME2 one?
