F8AL, you'll be missing out on so much if you stick to 2 teammates. His tier list is for Insanity and Hardcore to a lesser extent, so you don't have to worry about it.

You're playing on Normal, there's 3 difficulties above that, so you really don't have to worry about what teammates you take on missions with you. You can litterally chose whoever you want, Normal is a walk in the park.
o ok. Got it, thanks. I just thought like in ME1, there were the "best teammates". =/

I agree. You just HAVE to take Garrus and Tali through the Citadel.
What? Also quick question: When I went to the Citadel to speak to the Council, I was stuck in that one room, how/can I explore the rest like in ME1?

Take Legion to Tali's recruiting and loyalty mission :troll:
What???

^Noooo, lol.
What???

I must admit, it's kind of odd to see you guys go from arguing about contradicting supposed spoiler information to somehow talking about banging Ashley, lol.
I'm 22 and what is this

EDIT: Also, I skimmed the last few pages, use the spoiler tags, please. :c

To the best of my knowledge, you can only explore that room when it comes to the Presidium.

And I won't explain more about the Garrus/Tali thing other than to take them up and down the stairs while you're there. You'll know when it happens.

That's ********, why am I limited to one room? Why can't I walk around the whole place like you could in ME1?

You can explore another area. The Presidium is probably out of bounds because of all those elevators that everyone hated.

Plus it's only $20. It wont delete you save either, it'll just mean you'll actually own the game and be able to get all the DLC.

Just to mention Zaeed is free, but Kasumi is 560MS points I think.

Zaeed and Kasumi are worth purchases since lolextra characters. I only wish you could actually interact with them since outside of Mordin, they're easily the most interesting characters of them all. Shadow Broker is also a must and Overlord is somewhat entertaining. But, uh, avoid Arrival. And any weapon pack that isn't the one with the Geth Shotgun/Phalanx/whatever the last weapon was.

I'd actually say get Arrival, but get it last, as it's definately the weakest out of the DLC, but the start of ME3 is about your actions in it. And for weapon packs the Mattock is the one to choose.

Your top 3 DLC should be:

Zaeed
Kasumi
Lair of the Shadow Broker

Those are must haves. If you can only afford a small amount, those are the ones to get.

F8AL where do you get to headbutt a *****? That sounds totally awesome, and I don't remember that option a lot.

LotSB is the best DLC imo. Several boss fights, lots of story reveals, lots of locations... it's basically a whole other arc of the story.

Arrival's not bad and actually kind of necessary if you think about it and uh...stuff.

And I agree, the Firepower Pack is the one to get.

It gets you the best squad shotgun, best AR, and the best Shepard heavy pistol.

Arrival is horribly overrated. It's linear, doesn't offer any choice in the matter, doesn't provide any extras that LotSB does, and informs the player of what they already knew: the Reapers are coming. The twist is also painfully predictable when you take Cerberus' competency into account.

Feel free to waste money on Arrival if you want but I highly recommend against buying it and saving up for From Dust once ME3 rolls around.

F8AL, if you have a PS3 just buy ME2 and get Zaeed, Kasumi, and Lair of Shadow Broker with the game. I'm not sure how much they all cost separately, but I assume it won't be worth it.

Also, the PS3 version comes with Firewalker and Project Overlord. As well, it has a comic thing for ME1 stuff, and the Cerberus Network, which has a bunch of stuff including weapons and armour in it.

If by that you mean Cerberus messed up yet again, then you'll be glad to know that Arrival has nothing to do with Cerberus.
I meant Cerberus' blatant incompetency when it came to the Derelict Reaper. They were clearly written into a corner and when I saw someone who the quest giver claimed was looking for a Reaper artifact, well, it didn't leave much to the imagination. BioWare can write some memorable dialogue, but story is... not one of their strong points.

I bought Arrivial and it was the weakest out of all the DLC. I would definitely recommend not getting it but that choice is up to you F8AL. However, Lair of the Shadow Broker is a must. It's really good.

Firewalker and Cerberus network are free with new copies. It's the Cerberus network you need to download stuff.

What I've never understood about the comic is I heard it doesn't mention the Geth, which is odd, it'd be like making a comic for ME2 without mentioning the Collectors.

It mentions the Geth a bit, it just...doesn't go into nearly as much detail as you'd expect considering how important people say they were to ME1.

Edit: Also, I came across this, it's a description of a new trailer coming out (possible small spoilers?): http://www.buzzfocus.com/2012/02/08/mass-effect-3-new-trailer-impressions/

It looks like they replaced that little boy from the opening of the Mass Effect 3 beta that got leaked with a little girl to try and maximize the effect or something, I think.

Yes, do it. And buy all the dlc too, its all worth it, trust me.
I'm actually planning on purchasing a new copy of ME2 soon, I want to support BioWare and their games! :)

Plus it's only $20. It wont delete you save either, it'll just mean you'll actually own the game and be able to get all the DLC.

Just to mention Zaeed is free, but Kasumi is 560MS points I think.
Can you explain this stuff to me? So if I buy a new copy of ME2, I get a code to DL those 2 (I'm assuming they're already on the disc...) extra characters and some new missions from the Cereberus network?

I actually want all 4 (is there 4? I checked the XBLM) and most of them are 700-800 MB each while the last one was like 1.5 GB...I can fit all of them if I buy them. Just gotta buy some new points.

Also, what's the deal with that 80 point DLC for ME1? Aren't there only 2 DLC things for ME2? I heard they're bad.

Thanks in advance for the help!

I want them all! I'm assuming each takes 3-4 hours to beat? Does it raise the level cap and other stuff? (i.e. Introduce new weapons/powers etc. ?)

Sorry for asking so many questions lol. :p

Uh, it was in that mission where Miranda asks you to help her relocate her sister. Near the end of the mission, you speak to this merc leader and during one of the conversations, the 'regenade' option pops up and I did that. Shepard then headbutt the guy and then the action/battle started. Was totally worth it and it's not even bad! You get paragon points for doing so! :)

F8AL, if you have a PS3 just buy ME2 and get Zaeed, Kasumi, and Lair of Shadow Broker with the game. I'm not sure how much they all cost separately, but I assume it won't be worth it.
But my saves are on the 360 version. :c

Also, I finished the mission where you get to find that green/yellow assassin dude and I kicked this soldier/merc leader out of the glass windows near the top floor and he died. Got renegade points for doing so but it was totally worth it! xD

I'm also level 11 now. :)

You kicked the Eclipse guy out of the window? Man, that's cold and jerk like, and this is coming from someone who took out the other Eclipse you talk to during a mission.

Also, there's a bunch of new ME3 trailer videos that Bioware put up, if you want to see.

I suppose there might be slight possible spoilers in them, but since Bioware themselves put them up, I can't imagine them being even REMOTELY big or actually spoilerish. Still though, just saying.

lol I found it funny. Sometimes it's good to be the bad guy for a change. :p

And Miranda says she wouldn't "mind me admiring her body." :awesome:

You'll get a code for the Cerberus Network and when you connect to it in the main menu of the game there will be a bunch of free DLC. Apart from Zaeed it's all just little stuff.

Then after that you can buy actual DLC, like Kasumi who is 560MS points and all the story DLC and weapon packs.

You will get new weapons and stuff in the DLC, like in Zaeed's I think you get a flamethrower, and Kasumi's you get a really good SMG.
