Due to a sudden upsurge in Indiana-Brawl activity, (Monthlies AND Bimonthlies!) I should be able to get a decent amount of results in for once.

Not to mention I have an OoS tourney lined up for both this and possibly one next month!

There's a Mario in NJ named Cloudfox. I don't think he's that well known outside of NY/NJ but he is a legit Mario. I'm pretty sure he goes to tourney's pretty often and he places well. Especially in low tiers.

Btw to any NY/NJ Mario: Is any Mario other than me attending Northern NJ Sunday Brawl 2v2 & 1v1 in Denville NJ on November 8th? I don't wanna be the only Mario and I can't attend many Saturday tournies because I'm a musician first.

it's Regs Money, a Mario main living in Queens NYC,just moved outta florida a few months ago.

I always hear about how Marios can't win tourneys because he's low-tier and things like that but i want to prove people wrong and show them that mario is nothing to be ****** with lol

i'm not gonna let some stupid list tell me how good my character is GTFOH!
anyways,i want to start attending tournaments and repping mario to the fullest

i would never switch mains just because mario is my favorite character in video game history. i always buy all his games the day they come out. he's just a ****** awesome guy. i'm even getting mario tattoos on me for my 19th birthday coming up next month lol

i was real good at melee but never went to any tournaments. i don't want the same thing to happen with brawl. i want to see how i stack up against the comp in NYC.
i know that they have weeklies at NYU now, but does anybody know about any tournaments going on anywhere in NYC soon?

KirinBlaze and Hippiedude92 are NY Marios, so they may know of some tourneys coming up. That, and you can check the tourney section. I'd link it, but I'm on a friend's Wii right now and I don't know how to link **** from here, lol

sounded like ignorance first, but read further but props for confidence xDD l gotta remember that when l play Mario (that's why l went even with kingz's MK lolz)

theres alot of marios you'd be surprised, myself, Kirin, Cloudfox, Sexy Pierce, Aizen (unknown yet, but he's getting good) inferno, and others l can't name cus l forgot lol

That is exactly why. Kirin's too much of a beast with Mario and gave them really good experience.

@Hippie: Boss is a beast. 5th in singles and 2nd in doubles. Atomsk and Inui probably got pissed for losing round 1 in doubles so they went into **** mode.

So I had a tournament this weekend and got 3rd low tier with Mario and 2nd teams with Dom if anyone cares. I was able to beat swordgard's IC and Kingkong's Peach 1v2 . Lost to Ally's Falcon 3-1 and Holy's Sonic 3-0 (although I beat Holy's PT 2-1 in winner's woohoo). Didn't enter singles as I figured it would be a negative investment.
