I'm new here and a Mario main. Just wanted to see all the fellow other Mario players. Shame that Brawl has become rather unpopular anymore. I still find it better than Melee though I haven't picked it up for months. Though I intend on playing it again soon.

Sometimes I wonder why Mario isn't raised now. They raise Pikachu just because of Anther. Why not Mario?

It's because Pikachu is dumb and has a chaingrab on some random dudes that people actually care about. That's pretty much the only real reason...since in pretty much any other matchup (like Mario for example of course), he's just average.

And I guess you could make some random case about QAC...particularly the QAC "jab" lock.

To be fair, Pika also places more often than Mario, partially due to better representation, and partially due to Anther I think.

Also, Pika has some better MU's. MU wise, Pika isn't much better than Mario though.

I have to say, it is awesome. I think episode 5 is my favorite so far (I loved the "Good Times" part. It felt so much like playing the game again...).

I just thought you were too lazy to change the icon XD

A lot of people have icons that have nothing to do with their mains though, so meh.
I mean, I had a MK icon for a while, just because regardless of how he is, he is still the coolest character in Smash, and will probably remain so unless they add the Axem Rangers in the next one

Most importantly, can that person make it to a tournament?

Which is why I regretfully say that I may never properly do Mario justice. So far, I have very little ability to make it to tournaments.

This is what I see..


Most tourney active Mario mains that has decent results:

1. Vato (Goes to like every other tourney here in SoCal... even if they're at a farm ><)
2. Boss // Bo x7 (they're probably above Vato, it's just that Vato's my region, and they don't post results)
3. Kirin // Hippiedude
4. Myself // Famous (I don't see Famous' results, but probably a lot more active than me)

Throw Jwned, Tc1, Viviff(If he uses Mario offline), and anybody else who doesn't go on Smashboards in the list some where.


My last Brawl tourney was like 3 months ago? Come on Mario mains, get off wifi.
