I'm fairly sure that only works in training mode. Hitstun decay should eventually make you able to hit him before he jumps again.

Taskmaster too. You guys don't even know. He scares me WAY more than Sentinel atm.

Then again, a lot of characters are **** good. For example Doom and Wolverine are both ridiculous. Wesker is stupid good. Dante probably will be once people learn all of his 8 trillion moves. Haggar has 0-deaths. Ameratsu has some ridiculous stuff, although she requires some stupid good tech skill.

I mean, really everyone is pretty ridiculous.

Kirk and Ryko mainly. Kirk gave out a lot of frame data. Ryko just placed top 8 in a lot of tournaments and told people Ike sucks.

Basically it's like this, when i went to tournaments i took 3-4 dollars and basically entered sometimes by money matching people. If i didn't win money matches i didn't get to enter. For lunch and dinner i would pack some gronola bars but, ever since ive picked mk i would win alot more money matches and i placed in the money(and in socal this is no easy feat) and with money i won i could actually go with people to go eat after the tournament which is probably one of my favorite parts of the tournament, just chilling with everyone. also..I never liked losing, mario is fun but losing totally overides the fun for me especially if its losing to someone i know im better than.

Mario's ftw! That was good stuff we had against Dark Peach and Exdia.

And I don't know if this is right to ask this but I need someone to record my replays for me >.<. I've got two Me vs. Will replays, one Me vs. Logic replay, one dubz match, a set of me vs. Lobos, and one Me vs. PJ replay. All were pretty much friendlies except for Lobos which was a tourney set. If anyone can record these then that would be greatly appreciated.

@ Vato: Yeah, that's completely understandable, especially since you've been to alot more tourneys than most Marios here; myself included. I can see it wearing on you...outplaying person after person but having the match decided at the character selection screen.

It just sucks since you and Bo had really, really good Marios.

Mk made me a smarter player in general so my mario is a lot better now than before i droped him because i progressed alot faster with characters with more options. i still use mario sometimes though and i used mario quite alot on the aib ladder lol

So I did bad round 2. Got 0-2 by everyone. Amateur bracket was bad. I kinda regretted entering because I didn't really wanna play. Hanging out with people was amazing.

Edit: Seems I'm not going to Pound again today so I'll just say my thoughts about it now I guess.

Reflecting on Pound 5:

It was tight to see like six Marios all in the same place and chilling with them. Tourney wise I got knocked out in round 1 pools -.- which was kinda lame since my pool was pretty hard actually and I had no warm up matche before the pools started so I was awful D:. The amatuer tourney wasn't much better. I had to go against Llod and with no Peach MU experiance I say screw MKs, peach was way harder then Metagay omg. Then I had to play Lobos and got past him. Sassy was up next and I had no ZSS MU experiance either and he plays Matador all the time so that didn't end well.

Of all the cast of characters, I only don't have experiance against Peach, ZSS, and Lucario and I got 2/3 of them which was lame but no johns. Next time I'll come back better and win against them.

Turns out I love fighting Will's DK. It's just so much fun. I'll have replays of some of my matches up eventually from Pound 5 so stay tuned to the video archive thread. You won't believe your eyes in some of them.

And Inferno, don't worry about losing. Losing only makes people better so we'll be ready next time we play them.

Worst thing was that between mlk day and pound 5 I have touched brawl once and I mainly used falco when I played. I was so rusty but 2fast helped me lose enough rust to move on to round 2. Also I don't know why but I also alternate my performance. Since apex (which I believe I did well) I alternate between doing well and doing bad. day 1 of pound I was good and day 2 I was bad.

Btw I love Florida now
