Hm, I wasn't going to release pools yet, but I might do it for just Melee because Melee shouldn't change much between now and Sunday. The people I've entered are literally only the ones that have posted in the signup thread, so it's a bit different to reality.

Can't really do it for Brawl because of all the walk ins.

Ugh, like I said, I didn't really want to release the pools right this moment.

I'm sorry about the lack of time I put into the pools I listed. Add to that, this tournament in the past week. I'll be making the same excuses at work tomorrow when I speak to my boss and give him the medical certificate I had written out today.

4-man pools are fine by me if that's what you guys want. When it comes to Melee I tend to just do what you guys want to do most (Since you're travelling so far, etc). I'll concede it's my bad for not consulting you guys on how best to go about constructing pools. Nobody's really barked about the way we've done it here before, but if it's wrong, it's wrong.

Syke, can you detail to me how you went about constructing the pools that you did in TIO? (Or did you not use TIO?).

Well, I didn't really want to play with what TIO gave me after seeding the top players with the function built into TIO.

EDIT: The thread title did say preview afterall, so revision is a good thing.

EDIT2: Oh, and Redact, I did go through that thought process when I was creating it, as far as tiers of skill go. But I do think I need to put more thought into it.

You can go over the original pools and bracket set up. It was 100% accurate.. some people just cant let things go.

Instead of being potentially knocked out in straight sets, you get to play a min of 8 matches, therefore getting your "moneys worth", and of course it helps with seeding.
