lmao, you guys are arguing about the level of someone's sobriety in terms of how it affects matches? I love this game stoned, my tolerance for it when I'm sober is incredibly incredibly low. That's just me tho.

nuro, pat/pro, and jholla are about as active as either of you anyways. (nuro has gone to some smb's, jholla and pat/pro play with hayato still kind of).

Because you and sai are in ny, relax is in nh for at least 4 years? KDJ could be coming back full time much sooner. And it clearly wasn't a serious list, we were just including people to make it look longer because prawn said there are no smashers in ma.

KDJ retired more than a year ago, long before going to korea. Also, he's back in August IIRC.
MA doesn't have that many active players, don't try to pad the roster by digging up names of people who haven't shown their faces in a while. That'll make the PR even less meaningful.

Honestly, if you're going to make a PR with only the top 5 there is just NO point in making a PR for your state. If anything all of NE should come together and make a big PR. It's more impressive to be 6th in a Regional power ranking then like 1st in a state that is lacking strong players.

Yeah, probably. Haven't seen a NY melee tournament since I started posting in the NY player finder though, and I'm gonna be home for the one on the 13th. Also, trolling takes a lot less effort and money.

Why only top 5? Theres more than enough people/data to come up with an accurate top 10. Would like to know the reasoning behind this.

I'd actually rather have an MA/RI list, and then a CT list, and then a MaineHampshire list. And them merge all of them into one new England list.

Yeah, a merged NE list would actually mean something. Almost every tournament in MA is "regional" in that ME and RI show up, why not let the rankings reflect that?
I would have advocated for that in the first place.
