I actually got into a car crash, and was pulled over three times in those 6 months though. Every time I got a warning. "Everything will be okay" never fails I tell you.

But once you're 18, you can use a permit without a adult passenger - I can even go get my full legal license now. :D

It is, everywhere else. I got my permit at 15, while I was living in Oregon.

Maybe Colorado is just weird. Or maybe he just got his permit late.

Zomg D: ..you-are-so-lucky. My mother raged when I got a speeding ticket driving back from out of town that I fully[/I[ paid for, and I've gotten like 4 since I've started driving...most of them not even my fault...stupid friends xP.

But ya, I've been driving since I was 16...I -had- too x____x ...Did too much in high school and my mother got fed up picking me up and me finding rides and being home "late" (idk if past 10pm constituted as late :/ )

The change in Ohio law about 16 year olds not being able to have passengers came into effect only recently so it didn't afect me when I was 16. I was a full legal driver at age 16.

And every club I've been to is 18+, not 21+. They just mark you and take your ID at the door if you ain't 21 yet.

So, I already posted about part of this in "Something Bothering You," but new crap's come up that's effectively making my life hell:

On Friday, I was told that my grandfather likely had a severe stroke, and was then stricken by dimentia. Despite the obvious symptoms he was exhibiting, the doctors at the hospital sent him off to get a CAT scan, said they'd get back to my grandmother, and discharged him.

After several days, they finally called him back into the emergency room. Turns out it wasn't a stroke, it was brain cancer in its advanced stages. It's now likely that he'll die within the next week.

My family is now a total wreck, because my grandmother is confined to assisted mobility. She can't use her legs due to a degenerative spine disorder. She'll be living all by herself, now. Two of my aunts, my mother, and my cousin are flying down to Florida tomorrow to see her and help her through this.

Here's where things really started to piss me off:

Another one of my cousins decided that she was "too poor" to afford flying down to Florida. Not only was this complete bullshit because of the swine flu pandemic causing airfares to drop significantly, but she and her husband both work, and make more money than my mother and aunts combined.

She was lying to us, and it pissed me off. You know what made it worse? She was talking to her husband about getting massages and going to spas, while he was talking about playing golf, and seeing his mother, instead.

Another one of my cousins split up with her husband just yesterday. Not only is it unfortunate timing because of our grandfather's death, but also because she just had his second child, a girl. Her mother (another one of my many aunts) was being nasty to my mother, supposedly for not going to their wedding. The best part?

Her daughter and son were talking to my mother.

So, not only was my aunt indifferent about my grandmother's future and my grandfather's death, but she was being a total bitch for no reason.

Eventually it will spread to other states too, so I'm happy for you guys, I've wanted to post in here for a while (even though I'm not gay), you guys are cool XD I feel more mature than people in my grade (I'm 13) they're always making gay-hate jokes and I always think it's really sad.

It's a different sexual preference. Technically the argument as some merit. Think of it, homosexuals don't really want to be the way they are, but it's just how they turned out. Paedophiles. They don't want to have a sexual preference that could get them put in prison, but they do, and they decide to live with it.

So you see, if you accept one group for having a different sexual preference, you should really accept all. What's the difference in principle of discrimination between a homo/bisexual and say a bestial individual?

People have always hated what is different and that they do not understand. Some people use religious texts as their reasoning... some not. Doesn't matter what reason they give, the hate is blind.

Anyway. It's not a completely random tangent. Homosexuality is innate, not acquired. It's hardly fair to harbour ill will towards the way somebody was born. Furthermore, akin to blindness and not analagous to bestiality or pedophilia, Homosexuality only REALLY affects the homosexual himself/herself. If the person is actively homosexual, that's still between two consenting adults.

How is it at all fair to equate something inborn that can't be changed and that doesn't affect anyone else to a perversion against society. Even if you try to use the same criteria for pedophilia and bestiality, the other party can't give consent. The children are to young to fully understand and appreciate what consent would mean and the animals are incapable of consenting. Therefore acts of pedophilia and bestaiality really DO hurt others... homosexuality does not.

While more profound in its implications, it's merely an alternative to the norm in the same way that having blonde hair as opposed to brown is.

Take me for instance. I slept with a 19yo when I was 15. I was under the age of consent, I knew full well what I was doing and I wanted it.

Anyways, I am also attracted to a lot of things, but one thing that drives me crazy about guys are those that play guitar and/or can sing.

As for body types, I like skinny guys as well but I don't pay so much attention to the body as much as I do to a guy's face, hair, and voice. I'm big on brown and light brown eyes and also other light colored eyes. I also love manly voices =P

Homosexuality is different from pedophilia and bestiality because of consent.

Personally, I think we should be allowed to "play brawl" with animals, because I don't think animals should have any rights. However, I know most people disagree, and since most animals cannot offer consent to brawl, bestiality is illegal.

Children do not have fully developed brains. The argument is that they cannot fully grasp the consequences of brawl and cannot offer free and informed consent until they reach the age of 18. Ithink it's a load of ********. I don't know anyone who wasn't smart enough to say yes or no to brawl at 14. In general, I think brawl is too much of a taboo subject in our society.

With two (or more, gays can do that ) consenting participants, there shouldn't be any stigma associated with same-sex brawl.
