I'd love to argue valid points...respectfully.
In the New Testament (in the book of acts, i think) the apostle paul had a dream where he saw a plethora (great word, i know
) of foods forbidden to Jews during the Old Testament. God told Paul to eat these foods; Jesus passion on the cross did away with God's demand for burnt animal sacrifices and everything else during the days prior to the passion . In fact, Paul refused to listen to God a couple of times before listening to him; hard to break the habit of being an old testament believer and break into new Christian freedom.
Homosexuality was rampant in the OT...However it is also condemned in the NT. Many different epistles talk about it plainly.
EDIT: can i be granted debate forum access? I hate to intrude on this social thread anymore than i have already.
