!= is Does not equal, I Think it's used in programming xD

I personally tend to use =/=.

SO in four hours, I'm driving three hours to pay a visit to the semi skanky guy I have a thing for. OH how naive I am.
Ah ok thanks, so I guess I won't refer to myself as gay anymore but bi.

Haha good luck

What does != mean?

Shawdy has apple bottom jeans too
!= means "not equal to".
Coder / math lingo. ;P

As for my story, there isn't really one. I'm gay, I enjoy playing smash. I found the thread not too long ago, so I posted. :p
The only interesting thing about it is how I 'came out'. I was hanging out with some friends, and somehow, the discussion turned to gay porn. Eventually, it came around to the question "raise your hand if you're straight". I don't like to lie, so I didn't raise my hand, and the rest is history. XD
Kinda dumb really, but they were all cool about it, so whatevs, really.
My parents outed me as well. I've never really outright told anyone.
I'm not flamboyant or anything either. Things just sort of work out for me.
They kinda always have. Weird, but I ain't complainin'! X3

I came out to all of my friends, one by one until I was ready to let everybody know. One way was in senior year of high school. We had to write something for AP Eng 4. I can't remember the prompt, but I wrote about what it was like growing up gay. It was weird, also, because I was coming out to my English teacher. But I felt like it was what I could do the best work with. Anyways, I ended up getting a 100 (the only one given out) and I had my friend, Wayne, read my essay a few hours later. He took it really well, but yeah. I guess that's a little different way to come out, compared to my other ones.

lol Desu, that's an awesome way to come out. I was waiting for something like that for myself, but the opportunity never arose. Your friends sound great too ;).

Good on you for that essay, Remo. I don't think I could do it (though, unless something untoward happens, I shouldn't have to write another essay in my life). Was there something about your teacher that made you feel that you could open up to him/her? I vaguely recall someone saying they had a gay teacher somewhere waaaay back in this thread...

I have a gay teacher! =D I hate his class though, he gave me a 19% on one test because he didn't give me time to finish it. <.<

It wasn't me who talked about having a gay teacher though...

Thanks, Blink. I was really happy that I had the courage to do that. I do remember someone talking about their gay teacher, but it wasn't me. Never had a gay teacher, or atleast I don't think I have had one.

I was just thinking about mojitos not too long ago. I don't drink a lot. (I've only gotten drunk once.) But, I'm really interested in cocktails, more so making them, not drinking them. I guess it's my need to learn as much about culinary as possible. What did it taste like, exactly? Throw me some descriptive words. I know it's minty, but like, does it have a bite or is it really cool and smooth? Where does affect in your mouth and how? Excuse my food-nerdiness coming out. I'm just really curious about these kind of things.

I'm not much of a cocktail drinker (mainly 'cause i'm not allowed...) but i hear that Mojito's are an incredibly gay drink ^.^ I've only had margaritas but i just mainly like eating the salt on the rim...

I'm not sure what makes a "gay drink". However, "margarita" so sounds more like a gay drink to me! XD

I didn’t know there was going to be an open bar.
And the guy really knew his stuff!
He made me a Mojito.
I don’t think it’s a gay drink.

Jeebus, I wish I were a bit tipsy. But hey, one daiquiri isn't gonna do it for me! I've always wanted to try a mojito, now I have a recommendation. That's good enough for me!

RANDOM HORRID QUALITY VID OF ME SMASHING

Yes terrible quality, taken iwth a twenty dollar webcam, I've just never gotten a straight forward opinion, aside from "Just lucky" from the person I beat.

Sorry to drive the topic completely off, but to bring it back around... I spent the weekend with the guy I have a thing for as I've stated, we cuddled a lot. And then I jokingly smacked his *** late last night...Randomly erupted into very passionate things. Afterwards he said "Andrew... I...I..."

And then refused to finish the sentence. I doubt I can go into MUCH detail. But eh...

My suggestions:

Most of Zelda's tilts (down excluded) act like smashes, they're your friend, use them. Especially utilt.

Try walking and jumping backwards. It's REALLY helpful in taking your smash game to the next level. Especially with Zelda who's so spacing reliant, you gotta use all your options.

^B is a very useful move to create space. You can even use it to approach.

Din's fire more, even if it's only to distract your opponent. Also, don't just fly it straight (zizagging is great for confusing opponents so they mistime their air/spotdodge/powersheild), if it's close range, be sure to set it so it'll ram into the ground in case you'll get hit so you can trade hits or break a combo. When the opponent airdodges or uses another defensive maneuver try to slow it down by excessive zizagging so you can catch them with the explosion when the invincibility frames are over.

You can tell I'm a Zelda secondary (among others).

Oh I usually use the tilts a bit more, at least the up and side tilt. The Farore's wind I used in that match was accidental.

I usually TRY to angle it, or detonate it earlier and then later, and then try to surprise someone with its range.

That video's quite old, and against my best online rival. MOST of our matches were much more even and thusly too long for replay to really pick up. I main Peach, with Zelda as my secondary.

My third best is a tie between too many characters to list, I think ha ha...

Cool, but don't forget about the down tilt, it's really quite useful for shield pokes/shieldstabbing.

As for Farore's wind, exactly, use it more. It eats up space really quickly and safely with minimal lag. Against projectile characters it's better on platformed levels, but you can reflect the projectile to stun. Just don't get TOO close, you still can be punished with the lag (especially if you're right on top of them and they powershield).

Oh, and forgot, neutral B, very useful move. Inivincability frames and moves the opponent in the direction zelda is facing regardless of position.

I usually TRY to angle it, or detonate it earlier and then later, and then try to surprise someone with its range.
That helps, but again, zigzaging is an important tactic. Keep in mind how much large the hitbox is then the animation, it's very helpful.

Ok, cool, and good luck with improving, sorry I have no idea how to play Peach.

And remember to use all your movement options. This is a great thread about just that as well as improving other fundamentals. It doesn't touch mindgames unfortunately, but Yomi is notoriously difficult to teach.

Not bad at all, Andy. I was very impressed by your Bair/Fair/Uair aiming in the first half of the match. Though it got a little sloppier near the end, you hit the sweetspots about 90% of the time: very awesome.

Gotta agree with adumbrodeus on Farore's Wind: excellent move (probably my favourite in the game). Ground-to-ground FW aren't as useful against C.Falcon unless he's on the defense, because of his ground speed. Air-to-ground though can be quite nice to help stop people from taking advantage of your aerial weakness--when you're above the other player. Then again, your opponent didn't seem to be really pressing you, on the ground and in the air...

I'd usually say more Nayru's Love, especially when you've had a bad roll or spacing and end up too close, but really, you stayed in pretty good range for the majority of the fight. Punish his bad rolls then with it, and set up for Din's Fire or Lightning Kick chase.

Overall, a very fun match to watch. You pwned him.

And about your weekend: hot d*mn! That sounded so adorable. Ah, I missed it when we had these kinds of stories every other page ^^. Congratz, Andy!

Are you being ****ing serious? Cause that's not funny.
dont act offended when there is nothing to be offended by,
people will try to be extra sensitive for anything pertaining to homosexuality,
that way they can go around calling people homophobes.
very quick to make assumptions...my dear friend..
(yes this is on topic!)

Actually, you came on to this thread and assumed that we wanted a prostitute. Hm... Gee... I totally shouldn't take offense to that.

i 'implied' that he IS a male prostitute, there is no hate behind that....
lmao..nevermind. people would rather make controversy when discussing something theyre uncomfortable with

I didn't see your prostitute thing, but it's probably not appropriate for this forum, bud. If you can't talk about sex, you think sex for money is kosher? And what the heck puked all over that myspace, seriously? Like, is that a real band? Is it a joke? I mean... it's so... ugh. I mean, I'm not the type to crap over people's musical interests, but Jesus Tapdancing Christ.... Have fun with that...

I haven't been here in forever. How are all of you? School's finally out for me and its summer vacation where I live. So lets see... how does a male prostitute have anything to do with this community. Male escorts don't necessarily mean they are gay. Lets see, next topic... ooh. Anyone here like Rufus Wainwright, Morrissey, Arcade Fire, or acoustic/indie/surf rock? I saw that myspace page and the music was terrible. Anyway, I'll be coming here more often. Nice to see all of you making stronger bonds. :D

*Keep up with the good work KingReMO. Your the one who made this thread right, if I recall. My mistake if you didn't.
