yeaaah but once you have a big crowd behind or fighting for an important spot and you get nervous techskill fails and there goes speed..

right now im trying to like use my projectile wisely and replacing my unnecessary wavedashes with DD which is working.

i need tips on throwing projectiles.. seriously.

im trying to find a ways throwing stuff and still look fluent.
1°When you use the boomerang and the opponent shield it, use it again to press.
2°Take the bomb but use boomerang first and then the bomb.

See aniki videos (2)
Aniki uses the projectiles to press, he waits for the adversary to fall in his projectiles to attack .
His offensive play with projectiles is very good.

Aniki uses projectiles with full jump, is it good? He uses aerials with full jump too.

So I know why Link is low tier

I was thinking about it. I realized it's got nothing to do with the fact that he's slow, easily *****, and has very few good options. No, none of that. That's all bull **** made up by commies anyway.

His problem is that triangle he's got. Yeah, that triforce thing. Think about it. How come no one in any of the Zelda games step forward to do any work? No courage. Link has the triforce of courage and that's why he always saves the day. Nintendo realized this and said "鵜ぇ缶tギヴェ林後尾きっ” Which roughly translates to "we can't give Link good skills".

Think about it, what if Fox had a piece of the triforce? HE'D ****ING **** EVEN HARDER! Not fair, and Nintendo KNEW that they couldn't give Link good moves cause then he'd be "cheep" (lets face it, SKRAAAAA is purty cheap already).

But, Ganon ****s *****es up, there's even a thread on it. Hell he's got his own rule with the spacies (3 hit rule). That's the triforce of power. He's STRONGER because of it. And Zelda, she's got two kicks that electrify people. Triforce of wisdom. She's smart enough to build a small generator that's wired to the heel of her shoes so when she kicks, BZZZZP!

But Link? Courage? Who needs courage in a fighting game!? Courage comes to the player. I mean, we need courage to fight them animals from space (who go pew pew pew) and that one ****** who goes dthrow regrab lololo but that's from the players heart. Courage doesn't make Link stronger in a fight, and it sure as hell doesn't attach a little generator to his legs.

So, Nintendo clearly didn't play test Link very much. They were right in making him worse for his triforce peice (like they did to Zelda and Ganon) but they made him so bad that his triforce piece couldn't make up for it. It's not useless...but courage? com'on nintendo :(

I never really thought of it that way.

It does take courage to use the triforce of courage (which makes no senseeeeeeee).

I always thought it was funny that Link is the biggest pansy ever in SSBM but he got landed with the Triforce of Courage.

I mean, Zelda makes sense. It is a very wise decision to not be Zelda when you're fighting and instead use ultra broken inescapable death chain grabs, overpowered aerials, too-good-range tilts, arguably one of the top 5 d-smashes in the game, and a really dumb projectile. Why be all you can be when being Sheik will produce better results? Zelda knows man.

Ganon is self-explanatory. He's Ganon son.

But where does Link's power come in? Where does he get to do useful things like approach or combo or grab? When does he get a turn to use his Triforce? Where his inescapable death chain grab?

While we may never know the answer, I believe finding where Link lost his Triforce powers will unlock the next level of depth in his gameplay, and allow him to break through Mid tier.

By break through mid tier, I mean break through middle of mid tier.

Onwards and upwards my friends, we're going to be slightly above average!

triforce of courage doesnt really add anything to link i agree. its like the triforce of advanced will power. it just makes him want to do things and not make him any good at it.

Dustloop - May Forums

I seriously dont understand why people complain on SWF with the amount of threads that are actually allowed here.

And stuff is still hard to find because of various reasons (I f**king LOVE every other forum I go on except SRK because I actually find what I need in a timely manner)

___

You guys (links), and everybody else doesnt have it bad at all. Sheesh.

when your playing a marth and he is right under u a good thing to try is bomb droping threw the stage and going back up on the platform most marths will get scared of this and will more then likely leave u alone its just a little tip to get down from the platform and the best tip ever dont fight falco and a good mind game grab is when they are on the ledge try and force them to roll then simply turn around and grab

It's great to an extent. The only tip I really have is to predict the opponent's movements. Watch the techs, stage plops, and rising attacks.

i tend to use it on spacies and slower jumpers.

Reasons,

Spacies
It's hard enough to grab them as it is, and it's one of the best and one of the few ONLY ways for link to get good damage/kills off of spacies. If you can get one off, and they DI correctly, wait for the tech/roll and grab again until they screw up DI. also, WATCH OUT for if they do NOT tech, and simply hit Up on the analog. they can queue a spot dodge and that can leave you open if you decide to grab anyways. so mix up with grabs, dash attack, spaced fairs, dsmash, forward jump bair, or whatever makes you happy.

Slower Jumpers
Characters like ganon, bowser, and link jump slower than the average character due to weight (ground jump, not midair jump). Therefore, grabs are easier to get off. (Simple logic since the only situation you cant grab is because they are not on the ground or dodging). Tech chasing is so good. the grab pwns queued rolls if you time it right. Downthrow to (single or double) jab ---> regrab is a really good mindgame. Also, watch for bad DI, again, because not only can you punish wish good combos, but you can actually, literally Chain Grab them without the tech chasing.

Though it is a really good method, and it is a good mindgame, it is also one of the least safe ways to punish. Some untimed grabs lead to some wretched combos that can leave you on the floor begging for mommy, or up in the sky screaming "RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!" because of a fox upsmash.

So if you're playing a frame perfect player like mango or m2k (which i might have to end up playing this july.....) then stick with other quicker moves like downsmash, nair, or even up-B.
