Well I tried out my 270 valued Doom Cannon on Light vs Dark after getting tired of it on FFA

It turns out I'm actually pretty proficient in it only dying once, and that was towards the end of the match

I suspect it puts a target value based on the values of the weapons being fused and then transfers the abilities and stars which gets closest to that value.

Just a hunch though, it's probably something else.

And that Dark Pit Staff is harder to hit with than an Insight, I think. I might fuse it a couple more times, see if I can't raise the freezing bonus or get some speed on it.

I'm still trying to fuse a good Atlas or Magnus club. I like the Atlas club for not being slow and I really like it's projectile.

So I just crafted what may be my new #1 weapon..

Bear claws
Ranged: 3
Melee: 3.5
Value: 260 (way too low)

Attributes:
Heart Bonus +1
In-peril Attack Boost -1
Speed +4
Petrification +4 ( o.O )

Seriously, I get the petrification on almost every Melee combo, some dash Melees, and some dash charge/continuous. I'm not sure how the "random" system works, but it seems weighted with attack power.. where the last hit in a melee combo is usually the one to turn them to stone. (this doesn't explain why the dash melee isn't more common than the melee combo, though...Maybe something to do with consecutive hits?)
It can easily do 250-300 without the opponent being able to react... add in powers like black hole or meteor shower, and it's ridiculous. 0-deaths are fairly common.

I also got a Beam claws with +4 freezing, and hedgehog claws with +1 Freezing.. Claws with immobilization powers are fun.

Same with my raptor claws, the last hit always seems to be the one that freezes them without fail.

Looks like I'm the only one who hasn't even beaten boss battles on easy.

How do you even select whether you want easy, normal or hard? That and how do you deselect the 3 sacred treasures on the levels you use them on? :3

Tap on the Sacred Treasure icon to take it off or on. Also, Boss Mode is naturally on Easy until you beat it, after which you unlock "Intensity", and you can adjust the difficulty only then.

Hey guys! I JUST joined this site because I saw this board. I've been waiting for this game to be released for nearly a year, hehe.
Which weapon has the longest melee range?

Someone asked if Orbitars were any good in an earlier page- I use Jetstream Orbitars mostly.. They're farily fast and powerful. The side-dash continuous fire is fairly powerful and the forward dash charged shot deals about 86+86 (it fires from both orbitars)
I win quite often in Free-For-All. Won eight matches in a row yesterday. Haha. Then again, I do LOVE Mega Laser- Infinite range.
Anyone can add me. :D I dont have any friends registered to my 3DS.

EDIT: This game has a LOT of Nintendo references-- I'm probably wrong, but is Dark Lord Gaol... Samus? Palutena mentioned that she a magnus used to be bounty hunters together.. she's blond.. and she wears a big suit of armor that hides her gender. Coincidence? xD

The game is full of Metroid references in particular. For instance, the Idol for the Komayto (the Metroid-like enemy) says "The last Komayto is not in captivity and Skyland is not at peace."

I am aware of this. -w- And in Chapter 21, Pit mentions how they look like little metroids. But they were actually in the original Kid Icarus, I'm just wondering is Gaol is supposed to be Samus.

I'm not sure about the casting, but it has nothing to do with Komayto's appearence. It appeared in the first Kid Icarus as well.

I'm surprised we haven't gotten any games started yet. I'll probably lose instantly, but I'm looking forward to when we do.

I also just got the Chapter 9 without the 3STs achievement. It's funny, but comparing the treasures to the weapon I was using (235 value), the weapon I was using was a lot stronger. Makes you wonder just how strong the treasures actually are.

I was thinking that, for some reason I destroy more with my own weapons. xD The Sacred Treasures must be weaker than our better weapons for balancing reasons maybe?

The Three Sacred Treasures can defeat Ornes, which Chapter 9 is full of. I think that has something to do with why its expected to be difficult without them? I dunno.

I dislike the Magnus Club, but I prefer ranging anyway so that has a lot to do with why lol.

I get get up to Chapter 14's boss without dying on Normal in Boss Battles.. I dunno how I'll ever beat it on Hard! o-o

Oh my god Hard is going to be ridiculous.
I remember the hours spent failing Brawl's Boss Battles on Intense.

I'm trying to fuse a weapon that is either fast naturally or has a speed modifier as well as a healing modifier for 9.0 runs/boss battles. I managed to get some Tiger Claws but it's ranged attack damage was horrible.

People are saying the Magnus Club is too strong or some jazz. My claws can do enough damage to kill in a combo so I don't know why they are complaining about a slow club getting withing range of them so often.

It may be, but that is because it by far has the shortest range of any weapon, and since it is a club you can't move fast without good modifiers.

Is it just me or does moving slowly just feel like the worst thing ever. I can't stand using weapons that aren't claws unless they have at least a (running) speed +2 modifier. Also Jetstream Orbitars are pretty awesome. Need to make one that lets me run fast.

Oddly enough, most of the weapons I use often have some kind of speed modifier on them so I don't have to worry about being too slow, but yes it's a terrible feel being slow, especially when everyone is on the other side of the map.

Ah, I was talking more for in the air. I get ripped to shreds without some kind of speed to move around everything

And yeah moving slow sucks. It's why I will never be able to play cannons, staffs, or clubs.

XD Just messing. See on the post page the picture of the letters Ab fading to black next to "wiki" and the S with a line through it? Put your spoilers in the tag that pops up.

She pops up heart shaped mirrors in front of her as an attack every so often, you just have to learn how to survive through it or put it on a low difficulty.
