I like the solution you came up with Jake, I'll def be there both days. Would be nice if we could do dubs on Saturday. Excited to try those experimental side events.

I think I know Landon fairly well and if I had to guess...

Brawl: Me
PM: Deap
Melee: Me (wobble wobble wobble) I swear the games I had with Landon were like Brawl ICs vs Pikachu, grab = stock.

Well, if you want dubs on Sat, you better hope that people are actually responsible and bring a buttload of set-ups/ TV's :p

--Also, I'm really curious to see a melee tournament match between you and Landon xD

It's just a brawl match

big D is surprisingly technical and same with landon, I think if those two started to really play more they could be on PR in no time

dude dreamland and PS1 are both totally fine, especially ps1

tri-smash money match me since we're comparable in all three of the games currently being discussed

(I'd wreck you in smash 64)

I'll think about it.

I'm weary about melee only because last time I tried to practice melee I tried to wavedash dsmash with brawl ICs.

the switch back and forth gets easier over time, I was really screwed up that one smashfest where I went back and forth but now I can make the transition perfectly within half a game of warmup

Ice Climbers are a bit different in that regard though, especially since how well I do with them depends on my precision most of the time.

if you're tempted to wd d-smash, that's not a precision problem =P

i used to always l-cancel my ivysaur b-airs after playing melee for some reason, which was really annoying because it led to buffered rolls. not really a problem any more though.

melee singles is gonna start after brawl singles on saturday so you'll be fine, just enter it using the $$$ you win from brawl

trismash MM, sounds like my kind of match. I am actually surprisingly not bad at 64.

I remember one time I thought P:M would auto L-Cancel for me, and I was happy because it was a competitive feature.

Jake is definitely dropping Yoshi
So, a combination of two things:

First, I played melee again, borrowed my roommate's disk (since mine was stolen), practiced stuff, did stuff, re-learned stuff... enjoyed it... a little too much... want to play it, or smash in general with people...

Also, I found out by looking at Google Maps that if I leave at Sunday from the venue at 7, I can make the 9pm ferry going back to Victoria.

.................... WHY DO I ALWAYS DO THIS?????

Anyways, I'm more likely to show up... I'll make my decision on Saturday morning, after my alarm goes off for me making the ferry to go to the venue...

When does the venue open? When will people be there? Just trying to figure out when I would need to wake up, and make travel plans, etc...

Ugh, why do I always do this...

=D

I will be there at 11am at the latest on Saturday. I will probably get there at 11 or 12 on Sunday.

Well, I ask when people will be there because last time, someone told me a time, I woke up really really really really really really really really really early in the morning to make the first ferry (which due to the Victoria transit system, I missed), meaning I had to make the next ferry. Anyways, even with all of that happening, I made it to the venue, and was first to arrive, and the venue had yet to even open yet...

Oh right, this was the tournament that nobody except for Asa and Jason (and Jake?) knew I was showing up. But yeah, I was the only one there for like half an hour, thankfully the person working there let me in even though they weren't open yet.

But yeah... that's why I ask lol.

Hey just to throw this out there I'm against a new PR being made until a few more tourneys. While we may have a grasp on some people, there are others who have only been to one tourney since P7 and I'd like to see how they progress first.

I think Zelda is probably stronger but hey it's :peach:<3

If anything, not including somebody who deserves to be on the PR should encourage his, or her, attendance in future tournaments.

Biggest coincidence ever? Three of my classes got cancelled today :)

And, Ganon > Zelda discussion on the tier list thread!

I plan to be at the venue at 11am on Saturday for set up. The venue opens around then as well. As for when people will show up, people are asked to arrive at 12 for registration.

Also, YES- Brawl will be happening on Saturday. Please confirm yourself and any equipment you are bringing in the tournament thread! :)

I am unconfirmed until Saturday morning, which is when I'll make my decision (after my alarm goes off for when I'd have to wake up to make the ferry).

Also, if you are referring to me Dawson, I don't know how frequently I'll be attending tournaments anymore. I may attend most of them, I may attend one every 6 months... we'll see...

Adventure time themed PR pls

Jake can be Jake
Dawson can be Ice King (cause it's like a combination of ICs and the shape of dedede)
