If the Brawl event is going to be this Saturday, I have no interest in going.

Y'know, that "I'm quitting this game" and "I'm not interested in going" stuff is getting old. If you would rather not have the brawl event be this Saturday, just say so. I wouldn't mind saving myself the headache of scheduling in another 2 events on that either, but I just want what's best for everyone. If you're cool with the brawl event being on a different day, (probably Sept.22nd would be the next available day) then I have no problems with that either.

Anyways, I wasn't aware that many of the TV's at stronghold were your own. I just assumed they were the venue's. I guess it'll be up to the Melee community to step it up and bring as many CRT's as they can if you guys decide you want to have brawl run this weekend. Still, it doesn't change the fact that we'll lack TV's, and we'll still need to share if brawl is run this Saturday. If that's the case, I suggest having Brawl doubles run at the same time as Melee doubles and Brawl singles run immediately afterwards.

I don't mind if you guys would rather not have brawl run this saturday though. It's hard to squeeze in at this point since I didn't anticipate it. >.<

However, I'm more than willing to bite the bullet in order to make it happen if that's what people want. ^_^

This weekend is too short notice for me.

I am only available to attend full-day events if it happens on a Saturday, and only on every second Saturday (i.e. 1st, 15th, 29th, etc). Then again, even if it is scheduled on a weekend I have off, I can't guarantee I will show up.

IMO you guys should try to grab the 9th for your tournament day. Seems like it would be the most ideal day for you guys. Just play friendlies until Landon comes

Well if our next tournament is this Saturday, we will be sharing TVs with Melee and Project Melee. The demand for the TVs will probably reduce much of the time we regularly allocate toward friendlies.

I was mainly referring to how you constantly say "I'm seriously quitting this game if, X because Y", but whatever, lol.

Also I don't blame you guys at all for not wanting to have your event be clumped in with Melee and PM. It's a huge hassle for me as a TO to squeeze it in and I understand it won't be as enjoyable as an experience if there aren't friendlies for you guys to enjoy. The main reason you come to tournaments is to play with others, right? I wouldn't be too keen on it if I was in your position as well. It woulda been cool if we had enough equipment and enough time for everything to work out though.

It's just, if you feel like the event shouldn't be on that day, just outright say so and perhaps give some reasoning behind it like a regular response. It sounded a little antagonistic in my head reading the words, "If brawl is run this Saturday, I have no interest in going" like, I don't know. It would've sounded nicer to say, "I don't really agree with Brawl being run on saturday because being limited to a few setups and having less friendlies doesn't seem very fun to me :/"
Maybe it's just me, and if it is, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding ^_^

But yeah you guys should try going for the 9th and start bracket when Landon gets at the venue, or a little after he's had some time to warm up.
