Yes, best name ever. And the only reason Dawson has one more character showing than I do is I got Pikachu twice from Random. Aside from that, we got different characters each random.

Arcansi, Dawson and I have tons of Pictochat replays for you. There is no chance Pictochat will be legal. Which is sad, because if it were, I'd CP people there all the time, possibly over Rainbow Cruise.

Would grabbing somebody while shield broken count towards the three "unavoidable" grabs? Obviously grabbing wouldn't be ideal but for the sake of discussion...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in this instance, "unavoidably" is a misplaced modifier making the rule inconsistent with what you actually tried to convey.

Arcansi, I was half-joking, half-serious when I said there is no chance Pictochat will be legal. Obviously, there is always a chance. However, some stuff that me and Dawson did on Pictochat (e.g. "unavoidable" 0-death combos using stage hazards) basically shifted the entire course of the match. Dawson is in New York for a while, so the vids won't be uploaded right away, but once it is, they will likely be uploaded.

idk but I heard everyone plays ICs or G&W up in Alaska.

peach is a pretty useful matchup to learn, if you don't know how to handle dair it's quite easy to get *****. Or maybe that's just my lingering impressions from my wifi days.

I suppose dair would be annoying at earlier percentages. If you think a dair is coming, couldn't you just roll away? (Maybe I can take a stock off you next time with Peach )

my personal strategy is to run into it and then try to SSDI to the other side and hit you with uair, since Pika's uair hits below/behind him.

You guys could arrange for a smashfest pretty much whenever works for you guys. It seems like that's what the Melee guys have been doing. Wednesdays wouldn't be very good because they have drop-ins for other fighting games those days, but aside from that, you should be able to just stop by with a Wii or two and play for a while.

It doesn't seem like a venue fee would be necessary if it's just a few people stopping by and playing. Also, if you read further along, one of the posts indicated that they wound up having 3 set-ups going when they played Melee there the day after our monthly.
