But let's say this happens:

At the edge of FD, i'm MK, opponent is D3, he's recovering.

I'm an idiot, so I approach the swallowcide gambit, however, I struggle a crapload and break out right above the blast line, and manage to jump up, but not high enough to be seen directly

What would your provision to deal with this happening be if regardless of what the game says D3 wins?

Also, is there any situation where D3/kirby is declared the loser of the match other then the opponent breaking out of the swallowcide? Because if there is, then the ruling makes sense, but if there isnt, it should really be changed to 'the game's result is ignored except for when the victim of the swallowcide is declared the victor'

If the game days Dedede wins, then the MK wasn't above the Dedede and died first.

I think "initiator of the swallowide wins" is clear enough...

no, i'm saying if the MK breaks out of the swallowcide in time, and the game declares the MK the winner, but there's no way to discern if it was the MK breaking out or the game being ******** with it's decision making.

I know ganoncides and bowsercides are both subject to the victim of the move winning at times (which is stupid) but do swallowcides share this trait?

Ike is bottom five. I have always though that, still do, and always will. Just because san is beating people not smart enough to shield and punish Ike, since 0 of his moves are ever safe on block, doesn't mean Ike is good. He has a bad matchup in low tiers and many even ones. I will not disallow a very bad character because the BBR is extremely ignorant about low tiers. I've been in there and helped make the last tier list. When it came time to discuss low tiers, everyone was ******** and half of them said nothing. Without me and Xyro back there, the discussion was probably even more idiotic.

I'm pretty sure the only changes were Bowser and Ike, and Bowser has always been legal in low tiers since that was another terrible error the BBR made. Low tier doubles will remain the same, since that tier list was made recently.

I have beaten EVERY single ike i have EVER met(m2k/lee/you/bored/brett/mr.doom/doom...ect) cept San. I also sat down to play San EXTENSIVELY a few months ago and it was like "WTF ike is NOT LT!" Then i see his matches vs razer and gnes at apex2 and realize it again.....ike is NOT low tier. Normally we see eye to eye on LT related things but if San is any indication of what ike can be like at the Highest of level.....simply shielding ikes stuff is not effective. San has so many accomplishments under his belt that the days of saying "oh its a fluke, ike sucks" are over.

I KNOW you love ike and hes your main weapon in LT but please accept the new tier list(even though they didnt get some LT aspects right) and let ike move on to mid tier. For HOBO 28(oct 9th) im allowing ike in LT this time because i annouced the event BEFORE the tier list changed. After that though, hes mid tier. I think you should do the same. Just my opinion.

He means what if the opponent escapes the Kirby or Dedede-cide. To answer this question Helper, the D3 or Kirby would lose because they died and the opponent didn't. The rule only applies when there's a sudden death because that means the suicide attempt was successful.

In about 2 more years of this game and only 3 characters are going to be mentioned as low tier.
Seriously just because you get beat by a character extensively does not mean that character deserves better. Low tiers is much related to player skill than top tiers against the other's.
Watch more people are going to be beast with the other low tiers, than people are going to john about them.

We might as well have mid tier tournaments in the future.

More than one IC player was capable of doing well, even after people learned how to fight them. Chu was not the only one.

San is the only one doing this. San is the only one even doing remotely okay with Ike. And he's losing to people that actually know how to fight Ike (Atomsk and Doom at Apex, for example, since NJ knows Ike well).

Anyways, discussion on Ike is gay. I firmly believe he is one of the absolute worst pieces of trash in the game and always will because I understand the character well. He's going to be in low tiers because he's trash, just like low tiers, and that's that. I'll say it again; don't like it, don't enter.

I think using the AiB doubles tier list will be interesting because it will give characters like Sheik and Ice Climbers a chance to show they can exist in doubles since nobody ever touches them in normal doubles to even find out.

Lucas, to be fair...Atomsk and I beat him with Dedede and Meta Knight. I'm not saying I agree or disagree with you (I'm actually currently unsure on my opinion of this character), but judging the character's low tier performance based on that...yeah. Dedede and MK both **** up Marth, but Marth is not low tier.

He is mid-tier everywhere else, just except it.
