In Japan, Double Team and Minimize are legal. Minimize boosts evasion 2 stages now.

Pre-Evo Stone Chansey is WACK AS ****.

Aren't we all glad we're not living in Japan, right now? That Minimize buff is absolutely horrendous, if you ask me. But again, that's only because Minimize is apparently legal in Japan.

I don't understand why you'd want those two moves to be legal...

Everyone needs to fight Kirbyraeg with dittos. Well it depends on his team. If it's made of "juggernaut" sweepers or no sweepers at all then...he won't have a problem. But then we can just tell him he is not manly enough to sweep.

Ditto is not a problem and U-turn is for cheaters.

Well I know where you stand on controversial issues.

BTW you should put an RMT of your All Choice Team! I have wanted to make a couple of them because they are so fun to use, and I need a basis/staring point.

if i get put in a botw (in case it didn't fall flat on its face again) i will fight with an all-choice team with no swap-after-use moves, JUST for the sake of doing it.

He uses Volt Change, though.
And Baton Pass.
What a ****ing cop-out.

And if I get paired up against you that week, I'm making a team of all trapping pokemon that can wall it.

Shanderaa
Wobbuffet
Magnezone
Dugtrio
Magneton
and Overconfident Gyarados for lulz.

I prefer a no-Choice team.
I second this and always will. To my ****ing grave.

And if something must be choiced it's either locking **** in for a guaranteed revenge kill or it's got U-Turn. No ifs, ands, or buts.

Hooray for everyone knowing my secrets.

Could you re-post that Zuzurukin set and explain how it functions?
Here you go.

Zuruzukin @ Leftovers
Shed Skin / Impish
252 HP / 8 Def / 248 Sp Def
~ Bulk Up
~ Rest
~ Drain Punch
~ Crunch / Payback

I can essentially change the EV spread around at will, but this provides me with insane special bulkiness while Bulk Up brings my physical defense up to par. Drain Punch with Rest provides great recovery and an immunity to all statuses. The power boost from Gen. IV was also greatly appreciated. Crunch provides more stable power while Payback smashes switch-ins and the multiple faster Pokemon. I could opt for Intimidate with Shed Skin, maximize special bulkiness and run Rest with Lum Berry instead.

I f*cking love Zuruzukin, aptly named DERPMON.

So what kind of pokemon can it set up on? Im assuming its a special tank but are there any special attackers that are exceptions?

Thanks Tery :). Lol @ Derpmon.

Could you give me an example of heavy special attacking pokemon Derpmon can handle? Like a Gengar or even a Latias?

Do you use it as a bulky sweeper? Counters?

How do you guys think the biggest cores/threats in the Gen will be?(weather excluded)
I can imagine Nattorei being everywhere...then Magnezone and Shandera will go up.

I can see cores popping up with Nattorei, Gyarados, Blissey, and Burungeru.

And I can see things like Terry's Derpmon coming in to really eat stuff up. I think Bulky Sweepers will break onto the scene of Gen 5. Everything got so fast and frail that something slow that can take a couple hits have also came about in Gen5.

Thats just my thoughts on new prominent sweepers.

The best thing about no Choice is that you don't have to worry about your X being locked into Y and letting Z set up because you don't have a Scarf W.

Gen V Damage Calculator

Testing it with OpenOffice right now.

EDIT: Also has a team weakness calculator.

EDIT: Holy crap, TM locations, new moves, abilities, berries, stat calculator, and a nature grid / chart thing WHY HAS NO ONE MADE ONE OF THOSE YET

"...which also has a tool for you lazy pricks to figure out dual-typing matchups"

this guy's got my number.

in all honesty though there's too much info crammed into that. i prefer me a classic cherubi damage calculator any day

That's why you always gotta have a scarf w ditto.
Admittedly, none of my teams are incredibly weak to Ditto.

He's more just an annoyance than anything. But then again, I don't use too many set-up sweepers. And the ones I do use tend to not pose a threat to my own team. Either that or they force Ditto to be played in a manner that makes it unthreatening to my own team. DDMence and Kingdra and the like are good examples of this.

That requires a pretty bulky team, to use setup sweepers like that and not be threatened by them.

God I ****ing love Ditto. Come in at an opponent who I purposely let boost their stats a couple of times, kill them with one move because I have a Scarf then just wreck the rest of their team (or at least till I run out of PP, and even then Struggle is a beast)

That happened to me once

I let a gyarados dd to +6/+6 vs. my vaporeon, then sent in a scarf ditto

he threw in a zapdos twice to take away my limited PP

then i killed it with struggle

feels good man

My Shanderaa is 252 HP / 252 Def, not sure if Pursuit would OHKO.

i lied, Expert Belt 252 Atk Adamant Ttar crunch deals 93.2% min against 252 HP/252 Def modest Shandera (which is the same as pursuit on the switch)
change it to Bold and you get 84.3% min in the same scenario

so, don't switch out against ttar unless you have a sub out
