I'll battle ya Terry

On another note, I am beginning to think Genosektu is not all that great, he seems to die fast, maybe I am not using him right, but anyone have better suggestion for a choice scarfer?

I tried Genosekt too and he was honestly pretty bad. Right now my choice scarfer is Ditto. :D

But i dont know how Salamence would be uneffected by ditto. I've switched Ditto in multiple times after they have setup a DD and swept their team.

That requires a pretty bulky team, to use setup sweepers like that and not be threatened by them.
Nah. I usually use sets that carry only one move that will KO them back, which is Outrage. So I just don't switch out and use Outrage myself, that way if they decide to predict my switch and use something that wouldn't KO my Mence or Kingdra, I can just KO them instead and continue my sweep. And if they Outrage back, then I get a free switch-in to a bulky Steel (which my team almost always carries) that can either KO it or at least put it out of commission.

Simple as that.

And holy **** Tery I'd battle you. <3

EDIT: Genosect would be better if his movepool would be more physically dominant, but it's most certainly not. Due to either dominant special defense or both defenses being equal on quite a lot of the Pokemon you see, you may only get the chance to pick up a Special Attack boost about 10 or 15% of the time. Or at least that's how my experience has been with it. And it's got some pretty subpar bulk, so even its awesome typing is going to waste a bit.

Alright. I'll VM you guys with times and stuff for future videos. :3

And, I see Genosect all too much to be honest, but I usually end up sacrificing something to bring in Choice Scarf Hihidaruma or Shanderaa and Flare Blitz / Flamethrower the **** out of that ugly bug.

I really wish Hihidaruma could have Garchomps' or Nape's speed. Breakthing that 100 base speed is SO useful and if he did I would garuntee him a spot on my team.

We should have Pokécenter power rankings.

I know we did something like this at one point but it died due to inactivity, so we should bring back some of our old ideas again, relying on the boost of activity from 5th gen's release.

That sort of idea would have to much more organized unless power rankings aren't different from a the sort of leaderboard that Chibo engineered a long time back.

But I'd be willing to help organize that kind of stuff.

i hope you were kidding with this statement, since you know, comparing a SE attack to a .25 resisted attack
I think he was pointing out that whatever Hihidaruma can do,...Ditto can do better.

Im off to sing that song now.

WHATEVER HIHIDARUMA CAN DO, DITTO CAN DO BETTER!

A ladder like Chibo's old one would be a lot more viable than Power Rankings.
I felt there were some unfair technical stuff with his leaderboard, since someone at pit bottom could just to top 5 with a single match, even moreso if there was lots of hax or critical hits.

But this isn't the place to discuss that.

So I don't know anything about how to play gen 5.

Tell me how to fix that other than playing a lot.

Theorize. Thats what I do. I can't guarantee this will work, its only a suggestion.

What is the best stuff right now?

Obviously, Shandera, Ditto, Nattorei, DRAGONS ARE EVERYWHERE.

So lets think about what eats all that up?

ScarfTar for hard hitting or that Dark Alligator for selection of moves while still outspeeding Shandera and hitting with Super Effective STAB Dark moves. Ditto...well...use juggernaut sweepers and the counters to any sweeping pokemon you have. Nattorei...a steel killer...Shadow Tag or Magnet Pull. Your choice.

Steels to deal with Dragons. Bulky Waters to bait the outrage.
-----------

Basically its Latias and Mence metagame and you have to learn how to counter the 5th gen pokes. Its not going to be smooth sailing for anyone for a loooonng time.

Priority is very important. Beats out Roopushin, Ditto, Shell Breakers, Scarf Shanderaa. Aqua Jet specifically rips through Shanderaa and Doryuuzu.

More like running Timid Scarf Golduck

IT OUTSPEEDS BOTH BECAUSE NO DORRY WILL RUN A JOLLY NATURE

Why wouldn't they run a +Speed nature? That's just stupid.

I always run a +speed nature. Even on Trick Room teams.

Actually with scarf it outspeeds it anyway

i originally was thinking specs though.

I started thinking that there really is no way to counter weather without weather of your own because the few things that do have Cloud Nine all suck, and having to stick a Pre-evo Pory2 on your team also kinda sucks just because it's boring. I know it works, since paralyzing everything and Analyze-boosted Ice Beams beat out both rain and sand, but it's BORING.

I also dislike how I can have even less fun with my psychic-types because of Shandera. :(

Gardevoir outspeeds pretty much all Chlorophyll, Swift Swim, and Sand Power users.

It can't 1hko them however short of a choice item which is also exploitable. :(

Dorry requires Focus Blast or HP Fighting to finish off which is a decent switch-in opportunity for Landlos or anything with a fighting resist/immunity, like say...Scarf Shandera. Specs guarantees a KO with hp fighting, focus blast has that nasty hit chance...and Shandera can walk in on you any day of the week since the only way you will finish off dorry is with LO Focus Blast or Specs HP Fighting.

Rain sweepers in general are taken care of, but she NEEDS the power of specs to KO most common rain sweepers, as LO falls a bit short, especially on things that are neutral to electric. Kabutops' aqua jet will still tear her a new one, and will ko at +2 easily. Toxicroak, though rare on rain teams, can force her out with the threat of Sucker Punch.

Sun sucks anyway, you don't need a Gardevoir to beat it.

Gardevoir doesn't get many opportunities to beat hail which is focused on stalling, and if she gets nailed with Toxic she's basically no longer useful.

Funny thing abgout posting on the internet is that most web browsers have a search toolbar in the upper right-hand corner that you can use to access information about things.

Crazy right?

Funny thing is is that when I type anything to do with games or unschool related things it gets blocked.

Crazy right?

There's obviously a reason that I didn't know and wasn't from my own laziness. Don't hate its the innerwebs, if your gonna get angry its kinda pointless.

No negative vibes.

1. Talking about priority
2. Talking about Scarf Timid Golduck being better than CB Azumarill
3. Talking about how nature doesn't affect Golduck outspeeding Doryuuzu, meaning Timid is useless
4. I ask if the mentioned Modest Golduck outspeeds Timid Shanderaa
5. I get ****ty answers

you forgot the general rule that 252 ev neutral natures are just ahead of 252 +spe natures of pokemon that are 15 base speed below them i.e. Modest Golduck outpacing Jolly Breloom/Metagross. This reverses itself at base 100 speed, where Modest Starmie outpaces Jolly Salamence by 1 point.
