DACUS should be a major part of Jigglypuff's metagame. Discuss.

Pros:
-She has one.
-She slides very far.
-The hitbox is a friggin afro.
-Great kill move.

Cons:
-Ending lag.
-It doesn't pay the bills.

If you ain't DACUSing, you're doing it wrong.

Just don't be like me and DACUS after every forward throw...

i once juggled a marth 3 times with a dacus (well ... its the effect of his DI, but i just DACUSed left right left and he just DIed bad xD)
my bro sometimes says that the dacus is too good, but i dont really think that its broken
i really like it, it can be a unexpected followup when your opponent just tries to DI backwards ... i like it

well ... and DACUS is kind of techskill in brawl, so u can make a showoff when your opponent is killed :laugh:

in the beginning i tried to do the DACUS by fault, so i always thought: do the smashboost now (i like smashboost more than dacus xD dunno why, but i use dacus more often ... thats paradox)
nowadays i dont have to think anymore if i use it, if i wonna say to my opponent
"boooo, jiggs is here" i do it xD


well ... maybe someone could tell a German boy what this thread is for^^?

and: what throw do you prefare? I think no throw is really good for some followups (fthrow maybe, but nothing compared to other chars or melee)
i often use dthrow, just because i think it looks funny and i sometimes can do some uairs ...

Yeah you can't really follow up any of jiggs' throws so I usually just throw them towards the edge. On stages with a bunch of platforms you could always up throw them and shark them for a bit, or maybe get them to shield near the edge of a platform and get a jab lock off.

But we can all agree that d-throw is the best, aesthetically.

And as for the DACUS, I think this anecdote sums up my feelings towards it:

I was playing a local Sonic player in some friendlies, mainly trying to learn the timing for perfect-resting sonic's spindash (apparently it was time well spent, I rested Shugo out of a spindash a couple weeks later). Well I guess he'd never seen or just didn't know jigglypuff had a DACUS, so he's charging his spindash and I start sliding across the stage as per usual in a DACUS. The guy starts shouting. He's like "I'm sitting there charging a spindash when I see this blob start spasming STRAIGHT AT ME!" I never really thought about the logistics of the puffs DACUS. I guess it does look kind of mortifying if you aren't expecting it. The only thing I can imagine being more nightmare-inducing is jigglypuff's pummel during a grab (her hair is an extra appendage?!).

And there's a nice boring story for all of my jiggly-friends. Happy Holidays!

For those who celebrate it, Merry Christmas everyone. I received a pair of shoes, a car jack, a nice jacket, and a bit of spending money. Not bad for a nihilist who doesn't celebrate the holiday if I say so myself!

So, what did the rest of /j/ get for Christmas/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/Winter Solstice/other traditional mainstream Winter holiday celebration?

a cool coat and a grabber ... but this **** grabber just can record black/white if i play on 60Hz ... (just got melee here at my grandparents house)
i wonna play brawl again ... and i wonna record 60Hz in colour, think i need a new grabber^^

and: while writing this there is a alarm siren out there ... dunno whats that, maybe flood, dunno ... but i have a warm, cool coat, so lets go swimming xD
(I'm a bit scared what that is ... and my grandparents are in town, so i cant ask them^^)

Dont read this! one day a girl named shart accidentaly sharted when she was getting beheaded. they sharted on her face and squeezed a bunch of lemon juice in her eyes. then beheaded her. if you dont drink 3639675 litres within 4 seconds then she will appear dead with her bloodshot eyes from your closet, and shart on your face until you cant breath then behead you with her ***.
