All right, I had always thought utilt was stronger than usmash, but that must have been Dedede.
I'll try to use utilt for killing from now on. I have only used it to setup juggles and combos and stuff, never even considered it for killing. Though sometimes I use it after a dair which surprised me too when it actually killed.

Do it, try it out.

Dair to utilt works really well. Especially if you give them the "double tap" (poke their shield and wait for them to try to punish, not knowing how fast it is)


Also. something else to work with,
on Fastfallers, try 2 utilts, pivot grab, 1 pummel, uthrow.

Gets them where you want them and they have like, 25~ damage on them.

Oh, at 0%.

Mink, I totally actually do use that 2x utilt to pivotgrab thing :o
One of my favorite things to do actually.
Seems I'm doing it rite actually.

Well yeah, I never watch any Brawl Puff videos or stuff so I don't know what you guys do. Almost everything I do is what I found out to be working. My Puff has a pretty legit grabgame imo. Too bad Puff doesn't have any real throws, but she sets up the opponent in the air at least.
Also implementing stuff you learn from Melee Puff can sometimes work. Stuff like nair to grab or fsmash are what I learned from Melee actually.

Yeah that is pretty cool, but many grabs do about the same or more and have followups too...

She does a respectable amount of damage even on sourspots. I sometimes attempt to go for trades since most of the time the opponent will acquire more percent that way.

I think her grab damage is pretty decent considering how easy it is to land grabs at times. I tend to think of the grab as more of a finisher to a string than a setup for more damage.

I got a Rest KO on wario, and he was above my head. Not touching me.

Geez, I can't wait for toomai to do puff's hitboxes.

Wario was probably gonna do something that extends his hurtbox a lot. Happens quite a lot actually.
@San: I am totally different there, I absolutely hate trading with Puff and it happens a lot.

Trading with Puff is bad, even though she has decent damage output she still is worse off from trades due to her weight.

If Jigglypuff has the stock/percentage lead, it isn't that hard to KO with her. Harder than average, but I wouldn't say "difficult".

If Jigglypuff is forced to approach, her KO moves are really telegraphed, making it a lot harder to KO.

Sweet spot fair is to be respected when off of the level. That sucker can KO so early if they're just a few inches too close to the blast zone when hit.

^^this. Sour fair to nair (or just nair if its a spacey or something like that) to mindgamed sour fair to sweet fair (or something similar, this **** ain't written in stone). Love it love it love it LOVE IT!!


And I love trading hits, makes me feel like I'm almost using a good character, gives me hope! But then I die to a random *** usmash at like 100 and I start to cry/rage


Also, since my chances of going to APEX are now up to 90-95%, mass Puff invasion of Are U Hungry? Or is that already inevitable... ....

How bad is the split? Is it really like two different communities or two different variations of Brawl?

Its the only part of the match-up I don't have down.

Nair should stop the items.

From there, jigglypuff is dookie with items.

ZSS will try to keep one or two items, throwing them down and up in order to keep them bouncing and ****ing you up. They rack up damage and have dumb knockback.


What puff should do is just get her hands on one fo them, and throw the others off. Then do what ZSS does. We have pound we can do while holding items. Just hold on to it, when she gets close pound and then throw the item up to frame trap.
