You could know nothing about Ryan, but you could pick out any 5 posts from this thread and realize how amazing of a human being he was.

Doesn't seem fair. Anyone who can make it should go to his memorial tournament.

Can someone post a link to the thread that has all the information about the memorial tournament in it?

Life is a fukken troll! Has anybody noticed that?

It's really nice to hear how he impacted people's lives.

I'm gonna start using Falcon in Brawl! Even if he didn't play it seriously.

Actually, NESnoob never used the red color, he used the pink and default colors the most. He only used red against Matt r.

I can confirm this.

He even ***** my Sheik with Link. I don't know how. I really don't. It involved some bomb recoveries and some uairs. Chain grab as I might, I was powerless against his onslaught of awesome. What a beast.

My condolences to everyone who knew him.

Though it's tragic, this event is at least a reminder of how close this community is and how one life could affect us all. He clearly did not die alone. He will be missed and remembered.

RIP

I had never met him, but I cried my eyes out when I heard about it.

I don't even know most of you guys out there right now, but I love all of you.

Rest in peace Ryan.

I remember staying at DML's crib one weekend while he was there and me and him stayed up till like 6 A.M. playing some arcade platformer on his laptop (can't remember the name of it.) that was hard as hell. It took us about 4 hours and around 150 credits to beat it, the whole time we were laughing and making so much noise I couldn't believe chad and everyone else sleeping didn't wake up.

He was also the first person to show me the "Garbage Day?!" Video.

The worst part is that he had so much potential, in smash but also life in general. His join date is like '07 and he is already among the world's top Falcons. And he went to Ole Miss for engineering I heard, which is an awesome career. And he was a nice guy to boot. It always has to happen to the best of us... :urg:

He was going to win pound 4. Seriously. Dude comes into Jab2, beats matt r and tink and kels in tourny or friendlies, and takes first.
he was the safest and most thought out falcon player, and he got better faster than anybody I ever played with or met

He's definitely the safest falcon. He NEVER got grabbed by sheiks, he got grabbed like 2 times a game.

Man, I can't stop thinking about this.

It's so weird...seeing his posts and account and knowing he'll never post again. Watching his vids and knowing we'll never see him improve even more than he already has. And just seeing his photos and knowing he's gone.

It's heavy. If he had left home later...even just by a minute...

RIP nes...

Reading through this thread taught me just how great he was, and how many lives he touched. It's unrealistic to hear of a death of a fellow smasher...

I read through this whole thread throughout the day

although i never met him, i playfully talked trash to nes noob a while ago, it was like a year ago or something

of course, i would've gotten my *** kicked, but i was a troll and just wanted to spur a reaction out of someone and get noticed by the community even if it meant infamy.

i did this to a bunch of people, but i remember that when i trolled nes noob he just laughed it off and i gave up. haha it was sooooo frustrating i couldnt get a negative or aggressive reaction out of him try as i might. he called me out as the ******* i was being and that was the end of it.

unfortunately i never really talked to him again after that, but i had the pleasure of reading subtle sarcasm he posted in scar's thread every once in a while, and seeing the mountain combo, and being exposed to the titan that is falcon's nair.

this guy was really ****in good at smash, and i regret not having known him well enough to discover him as a person as well, because judging by the posts here, it would've been a good experience to say the least.

this kind of thing really blows and i feel terrible for his family and friends. i wont be able to pick falcon without thinking about this ever again.

as little as i knew him, you all can rest assured that he'll never be forgotten, as long as i'm around.

RIP NES n00b

I just was laying in my bed, and it sunk in that I'll never get to see that amazing man again.

I broke down, completely lost it, and now the waterworks have started all over.

Ryan I love you man, I just wish I could see you again.

I don't want any one here thinking that all he was, was an amazing Captain falcon. If all you guys ever did with him was play smash, you've missed out. Never correlate a man this good, to only something as small as a video game. Sorry, I couldn't go to sleep before I got that out there.

I understand you were close to him. But, a lot of us here only knew him through smash so those are the only memories we have to reflect on. Yes, he was an awesome C.Falcon. But, I think everyone here knows he was much more to many more people than just the community. I'm sorry that I never got to know him outside of smash myself, but once again, that's how I remember him. A bada$$ captain and a really likable guy.

Not dogging you. Just sayin', man. Sorry for the loss of top-notch smasher and a probably even more top-notch human.

RIP once more Nes Noob

I'm just another overhearing player who'd like to pay his respects to a fallen smash brother.

I'm not Christian or religious in any way, but I'll pray for you and your family and friends. Good luck with whatever has come your way in your passing.
