well the matches were even with snake coming from losers finals. 5-4 so there were 2 sets of matches during grand finals

hey havokk the second round match against frank is not against peach it's against lucas. also i edited my post above you showing how many stocks i had left over on a few matches. not all my matches were won with one stock. sorry for that problem

So I cant be bothered making a new thread (and coz i think the concept is dumb)

Anyway I finally got around to putting up some videos of my snake. I dont really main Snake, but I do use him in doubles tournaments and in a double blind pick sometimes and vs MK, G&W for 1vs1 if I have to. Critique or whatever would be cool I SD'd at the end to keep it below the 3:00 mark for replays. My brother doesnt main DK or wario but I told him to use them since they do well against snake, incase you notice too many quirks about his gameplay

btw i know i staled the uptilt vs DK, i dont normally do that lol. and in the wario match i completely forgot about GR - uptilt until the final KO Sweaty hand johns @ failed mortar slides. I know about jab cancels -> grabs, i just dont feel comfortable doing them in a risk v reward sitatuation where ftilt just does too much damage to not be used

So yeah. in be4 space with ftilt nade camp more lol

No offense, but that sonic sucks balls. He didn't know how to space, he ran into everything, and could never follow up his spin dashes, or do anything good. It was worse than my sonic, and my sonic is complete trash. Having said that, I think that the first post should only contain matches vs competent opponents. That way, people won't get misconstrued ideas on how they should be fighting that character.

But that match vs Melee1 was ballin'. Melee1 is a good player and that was a super close match. Last stock with 138%, it was intense. Nice work, you have a pretty good snake.

These videos include me vs all top region players (TheReflexWonder, Seibrik, Lambchops when he still played, Danny).

They include alot of doubles videos as well.
Alot of me winning and alot of me losing. So you can see what to do and what not to do =).

The oldest video is like 6 months old though.
And the newest is like 2 months old.

Since you watched the Melee1 match, do you know what happened when I got cypher grabbed and didn't air release? I thought I was gonna fly up and land on the platform, but I just fell straight down and didn't have time to C4.

I noticed that and I have no clue. I've never seen a non-jump release when you're dangling over the edge. I know that if they hit you right as you release you go down, so maybe he hit you right as you got released and you didn't notice? Probably not. I'll watch the vid again in a little bit and see if I can find what happened.

I fight X (who is considered to be one of the best sonics out there) pretty frequently. I'll record our matches next time I fight him. I normally don't go snake vs him either, but I'll do it so we can have some vids vs a good sonic player.

I've been thinking that there's two different kind of releases depending on the character that grabs you and how they grab you, because that's happened to me a few times before.

Edit: Just rewatched the vid, and I noticed Snake's foot touching the ledge. Maybe that triggered a different release?

He grabbed me while I was still airborne, though. I did see his foot barely touching the edge, I suppose that could be what it was. I thought if you were grabbed from the air it would auto air release, but I'm obviously mistaken. I'm gonna do some more testing around and see if I can replicate the circumstances and find out what happened.
