I don't know you HBox, but I'd recommend playing someone that isn't D3 so you can keep your attention on Brawl. D3 is a great character, but a lot of what you do in situations is stagnant. Characters such as Wario, Marth, Falco, and what not tend to be far more dynamic in how they are played.

And yes Christine I didnt really take those matches very seriously and I told GDX sorry after the tournament. LOL at me picking mk on Halberd my favorite counterpick for Peach against Snake now lol.
