I never thought I'd want to bother with picking up falco, but recently, I've been using him more than any of my characters. I definitely have interest in getting my Falco better.

Funny thing is, I came to the Falco boards today to see if anyone had posted anything saying that Falco is the best character in the game. Well, I found it.

And, in my opinion, it's true. A friend and I were discussing this the other day. I main Falco, so I know how good he is, and he is the only character I play against that just infuriates me. Granted, I don't play against too many Jiggs or IC's, but Falco's lasers interrupt any normal character's game to the point that you have to play totally differently. Falco sets the pace for the match.

People were all going nuts about how Jiggs was the best less than a year ago. Sure, Falco's really good, but just because he's dominating the metagame right now doesn't make him the best. People learned how to beat Puff, people need to learn how to beat Falco.

Well, Falco definitely has an easier time winning than my other two characters I use (Doc and Ganon). But Doc is still my best and favorite character in the game.

And people jumped off that Jiggs bandwagon so ****ing fast just cause hbox had a lackluster 6 months or so. Jiggs is still amazing. Top 3 imo.

switching mains doesn't make you a better player

may have an easier time beating the people you already could w/ falco but don't expect to perform much better, if at all, from the switch

while i do think falco is the best character in the game within human limitation, fox & jiggs are both on that same level
and the gap between characters like marth/peach/sheik is not very large

as long as everyone doesn't switch to sheik or jiggs i'm fine, ub oos all day rage at samus so broken herp derp

I need to play more Falco in tourney and get better. I feel that my technical abilities are not up to par to want I want so he's my secondary and Marth's my main at the moment.

Falco as number 1... I've considered it a few times. I just have a lot of trouble deciding between Fox and Falco. Ultimately, I find myself thinking that it all comes down to the Fox v Falco MU, since most of their ratios are the same, although Fox's are overall slightly better. However, if Falco has an advantage on Fox, then Falco should be number 1. If not... he shouldn't.
I'm nowhere near good enough to decide for myself what the MU is, nor can I fully understand how all of the factors that go into a tier list can be balanced out successfully. This is just my opinion.
